Spectacular, airy, immaculate house in South Palm Springs is powered by the sun and has conventional back up. Solar panels are discreetly placed and invisible from the front or back. At 3500 square feet, you won’t lack for room in this comfortable, beautiful and sunny home. House is newly renovated and gorgeously furnished, with original art, a three car garage and a heated pool and spa. We are very near to the Indian Canyons Golf Resort which is open to the public. Area is far to the south in non-windy Palm Springs, in the prestigious Canyon Estates neighborhood which receives full sun and has the best views of the San Jacinto mountains from its two million dollar plus homes. Have no fear of golf balls or golf carts as we are off the fairway. We are not in the shadows of the foothills for longer, warmer sun time in winter. The backyard has a shade porch and a 33 foot pool with an attached spa. A six foot wall and neighbors' hedge provides privacy for backyard living. Grab some fruit from our citrus trees to squeeze your morning juice and use the outdoor shower. Outdoor dining furniture seats eight. Pool area has two single loungers, one double lounger and an outdoor fridge/wet bar and two sitting areas. All rooms in this house are spacious and sunny with marble tiles or carpeting and amazing, original paintings throughout. Living room has soaring cathedral ceiling and views of the pool and mountains as well as an upright piano kept in tune. The master bathroom is the size of a Manhattan apartment and has a pedestal tub and a separate shower. Master bedroom has an enormous walk-in closet, the size of a bedroom. T.V. den is cool and cozy with shelves full of books and a 50 inch Smart TV with access to Netflix, Hulu, etc. Kitchen is fully equipped with island counter, gourmet cookware and state of the art appliances. Next to it is a sunny breakfast room as well as an outdoor breakfast nook in the shade. Cabinets have crystal and wine glasses and three different sets of china. Flat screen Smart TVs are in all bedrooms. Strong WiFi is provided for your laptop. Solar powered air conditioning keeps this place cool in the hot months. Charge your Tesla or other EV in our garage. Small to medium dogs are welcome that are clean, flea-free, quiet, non-chewing and housebroken. High chair and pack and play are available. Children are welcome at this house but this is not an ideal rental for large families with young children as this is an area of full time residents. We ask all our guests to respect our neighbors' right to the quiet enjoyment of the neighborhood, especially when using the pool -- neighbors are sensitive about "kids screaming in the pool." The City of Palm Springs has strictly enforced codes concerning noise. Guests must keep conversation to a reasonable level and the playing of music in the backyard is not allowed by law. Parties, receptions, events etc are not allowed by city ordinances. Film or video shoots are prohibited by the City of Palm Springs. Pool and spa heating are not included from October 1 to June 1 and is recommended for the cooler months. Please let us know if you are interested in using the spa and/or heating the pool and we will include it in the quote. For month long stays, we offer the alternative of a pool heating deposit with a possible refund and will document gas use with our utility bill. Concerning supplies, this house rents from three nights to three months so it is not practical to offer supplies, comestibles or services such as daily housecleaning. We start you off with some toilet paper and hand soap for your arrival. Guests are welcome to use all other supplies left at the house including cleaning and pantry items. The video room was inviting and the pool and spa are in a lovely backyard. It feels as if Palm Springs is giving you a gigantic hug. It's the type of comfort you'll want to visit over and over.' The home was beautiful and clean. Loved hanging out in the pool after a day exploring Palm Springs. Our stay in Palm Springs was great because of this wonderful home. It is spacious, super clean, very nice backyard (where we spent most of our time), comfortable beds and we got to park the cars in the garage. The owner was extremely helpful and easy to contact. This is a very welcoming place to stay. And the pictures are good but the house is more spacious than we thought. A very quiet neighborhood and a great pool to spend time at. If anyone likes to walk we recommend walking from the house to Smoke Tree Ranch. It’s close to 1 mile away. There is what I’d call a flood control levy to walk on and the views from there are amazing. Highly recommend. ##### Gary M. The pool and outdoor space is very private and very nice. The den was great for our family to watch a movie together. The host is very attentive but not at all intrusive. (For instance, one of the bedroom TVs was not connected--not a big deal. The host insisted on having the cable company check all the TVs, but only at our convenience.) The neighborhood is very quiet and very nice for a walk in the morning or evening. We would definitely stay at this house again. ##### Brian M. This was a vacation to celebrate my mil's 80th birthday. We haven't all been together for many years so this property was PERFECT! We were all very comfortable in our bedroom suites. The location is fantastic for a quiet peaceful setting. I biked every day from the house and others walked. Love the den with the large sectional but also spent time in the living and dining room. We did not utilize the pool/spa but it looked beautiful. The property manager was extremely responsive when we had a question. Kitchen is extremely well set up and we cooked 3+ times. For example, light switches are labeled so you know what does what, towels are right by the door to the pool, you won't have to search. Check in was probably the clearest I've experienced even with minimal direct contact with the owners (not a complaint, they've set it up so you don't really need them, though they're only a text away). The house decor is also pretty phenomenal. Just a fantastic, easy experience in an amazing, Luxury place. ##### Lawrence W. Clark was friendly, professional and so easy to work with. The home is in a beautiful neighborhood and has a fantastic view of the mountains. Everything was clean upon arrival and the photos do not do the home justice. Every room is meticulously decorated, the beds are very comfortable and the rooms are so large and inviting. The kitchen has about everything you could need to make a meal and the appliances including washer and dryer all worked very well. The backyard was so much larger than expected with plenty of seating and a large pool with hot tub. We had a wonderful visit and can't thank Clark enough for sharing this home with us! ##### Jeffrey E. A quiet neighborhood with sidewalks for walking while admiring the mid century homes. Convenient to downtown. Lovely furnishings, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and lots of room both inside and out. The grapefruit tree was an added bonus. We stayed 5 weeks and used Clark’s housekeeper mid way through our visit who did a great job. Clark was a wonderful host and easy to communicate with. He gave us great suggestions for restaurants and activities. Although the backyard view of the mountains was blocked by tall hedges, as soon as you went out the front door you were surrounded by the views. We cannot wait to return. Our visit was during July where temps exceeded 100 degrees each day. AC always kept us comfortable. The pool was cool and refreshing each day and we loved using it each afternoon. Outdoor seating is great for your entire party and you will be delighted by the hummingbird visits each morning and afternoon. The beds are very comfortable, beach towels are provided for the pool and bathroom linen are plush. The Kitchen is great with everything we needed. The added considerations by our host like a black towel for makeup, Ralph’s card on key chain for grocery store and full spice rack are just a few of the extras. We also loved that the garage held our full size SUV. The beauty of the house and furnishings will not disappoint and even better than the pictures. Communication with the host Clark is the best. He is responsive and gives you all the information you need, even recommendations on traveling from LAX. Looking forward to returning soon. Best VRBO ever! ##### Kimberly K.
