Meticulously manicured grounds welcome you to this classic Alexander Home, surrounded by a privacy wall and soaring palm trees. A custom fountain with seating offers a meditative place to take in the views from the front, while the backyard invites leisurely days spent lounging by the pool, soaking in the spill-over hot tub, or gathered around the fire pit. Inside, mid-century modern decor meets contemporary entertainment. The open concept main room features Eames lounge chairs and a classic mid-century styled sofa frame a gas fireplace and large TV for relaxed evenings with friends and family. A wall of sliding glass doors creates a feeling of seamless indoor/outdoor living. In the dining area, a classic tulip table seats four guests, with three additional seats at the kitchen breakfast bar. Of course, you may prefer dinner with a view at the al fresco covered dining table just outside. A BBQ grill will inspire your inner chef. Each of the home’s three bedrooms offers room to relax with accommodations for up to six guests: Primary Bedroom King Bed Sink into the mid-century modern club chair to enjoy the wall-mounted TV, or step through the private sliding glass doors to enjoy direct access to the garden. The en-suite bath features dual sinks and mountain views from the large glass step-in shower. Bedroom 2 Queen Bed Chic and modern, this room has twin nightstands and a private, sliding glass door to the front yard and fountain. The house is bright and airy, but the front glass door don't provide much privacy. The salt water pool, hot tub, fire pit, BBQ grill and outside eating area in the private backyard made for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The hanging chairs in the front yard by the fountain provides another relaxing spot. Overall a great house that we would definitely book again. ##### Frank S. Time in this home felt like a vacation even though we had to work remotely most of our stay. The pool and spa are delightful. The bed was super comfy. The kitchen well stocked with all the gear we needed, and then some. The whole home was spotlessly clean. It was a special treat to live for a few days in an Alexander home kept true to genre and in a neighborhood that takes such pride in keeping the mid-century modern vibe alive. Our small family of 3 + 2 pups just stayed at this property for our late-summer vacation. The house is gorgeous and exactly as pictured in the listing. The location in the Las Palmas neighborhood was close to everything, but also very quiet. This home is situated right up against the mountains, which makes it nearly wind-free... unlike other neighborhoods we've stayed in. The house itself is well maintained and well equipped with everything we needed to cook & eat at "home"... we would have liked some outdoor/plastic plates/bowls, but the August heat kept us eating indoors most days. The outdoor areas were absolutely lovely with the front of the home featuring a cool fountain and spacious yard. The back area was very private and had a large pool, plenty of grass, a firepit area and dining table. It was HOT during our stay, but thanks to the mature hedges and position of the home next to the mountains, the pool was completely shaded by mid-afternoon. Perfect! I cannot recommend this property highly enough and would definitely opt to stay here again the next time we visit Palm Springs. Our only knock on the property is that the window coverings in all of the bedrooms are quite sheer. At night, you can still see all of the landscape lighting outside (until 3am when it shuts off) and in the morning, you're awake with the morning light. For folks that like to sleep in, I'd recommend bringing an eye mask. ##### Denise W.
