Was pretty skeptical because I read all the horrible reviews but quite surprised that it wasn't like that at all. My travel companion and I were both very impressed with the size of our two bedroom two bath. The balcony faced the ocean. We were on the fourth floor. Our unit was clean and updated. We had plenty of hangers, dishes, utensils. There were no paper towels so we went to the store and bought some. There's a coffee pot in the room but you only get one coffee pod. Since we had a rental car we went to the store and bought food and brought it back. There is one ice tray so you will have to buy ice.
Good water pressure. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner. They do provide but it's not much.
It was very quiet even though many of the owners have pets we did not hear barking.
We were there in April so it wasn't real crowded.
It is an older hotel so I couldn't help but wonder how many celebrities stayed there back in the day.
Having a rental car was a must.
We did not eat at the restaurant but I heard it was a little bit on the expensive side. The continental breakfast is just exactly what that means not much to eat but most hotels who have continental breakfast give you oatmeal fruit and cold cereal. This place is no different.
Many reviews commented about not having lots of towels so we brought our own beach towels. Each bathroom had bath towels a hand towel and a washcloth. Unfortunately we did not get the maid service on the third day like we thought.
