Also being nestled in the hills outside of Florence meant it was 5C cooler at the house than down in the City. "First of all this home is beautiful! Wonderfully furnished in every way. Kitchen is percecfly accommodating! But…the house is amazing for a large family vacation, business outings the way it is perfectly laid out to allow for privacy at night but wonderful gatherings at dinner and drinks and time together in the evenings! "This property is amazing! So quiet and serene away from the city. Visiting Florence is easy and I did it 2 times during my stay. U simply drive down the mountain about 15 min to San Lorenzo and catch 1hr train to Florence. The pool is amazing and the house has so much history. The drive up the mountain is about 15 minutes up some of it is unpaved but it is well WORTH it. Fantastic for families."

The pool and the Tuscan sun were an inevitable combination. If more tourist activity is thought necessary, drive into Pontassieve, park in the supermarket car park, catch the train into Florence ( about 25 minutes). "Warm, friendly hosts with incredible accommodations. Ilaria and Nicola went out of their way to ensure our stay was very memorable. Extremely clean with large spacious rooms. "This villa was great for the family. Hidden off the beaten track it is a tricky one to find initially but once there you are secluded and quiet. The villa had everything you could ask for and we were made extremely welcome upon our arrival. The kids loved the pool and garden making lots of use of it.
