"We loved our stay here! Conveniently located right in front of the beach, it was amazing to wake up to the views of the oceans and boats. We enjoyed being very close to a lot of restaurants, gelaterias, and walked around the town each night. It was also easy for us to drive to different parts of costa brava each day. Loved our stay here!"

"We had a truly wonderful stay at Can Mascort Eco Hotel. It’s a beautiful, peaceful hotel with so much character, and everything feels thoughtfully designed while still preserving the charm of the historic building. The rooms are stylish, comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the whole hotel has a wonderfully calm, relaxed atmosphere. One of the highlights for us was the Caldarium, which was a lovely experience and made the stay feel even more special and indulgent. What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. We also found it easy and convenient to reserve parking, which made arriving and exploring the area completely stress-free. The location is excellent too — right in the heart of Palafrugell’s old town, yet the hotel itself feels like a little oasis of tranquillity. We also really appreciated how genuinely dog-friendly they were; our dog was made to feel very welcome, which makes such a difference when travelling with a dog. Can Mascort manages to combine understated luxury, sustainability and genuine warmth remarkably well. We left feeling completely relaxed and very well looked after. It is one of those hotels you are genuinely sorry to leave, and we would return without hesitation. Highly recommended — an exceptional little hotel and a real find."

"Elisabeth is a charming host and rightly very proud of the property. It should have a name. We thought "Villa Magnifica" would be appropriate. The layout of the open-plan ground floor, with kitchen, dining and lounge areas, leading to the terrace with an outside dining area and pool right in-front, is superb. It kept our 3 generation family all together. We really miss the pool! Floating by the infinity edge looking at the view is really special. Aircon very good and the high position caught lots of the breezes. 63 steps to the villa were hard for some but well worth it. Really good to have a cargo lift for luggage. We got a great view of the fireworks in Tamariu when Spain won the World Cup."

"We found Hotel Portbo to be a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in the beautiful Calella de Palafrugell. There is a friendly and accommodating staff, the accommodations were clean and well cared for, and the hotel is well-located only about a 5-10 minute walk to the beach and the center of town. The hotel does not have elevator, but the gentleman who checked us in was very kind to carry our bags to the third floor upon arrival and departure. Many reviewers praised the free daily breakfast, and I agree that it was a special treat! The buffet was outstanding, with an extensive selection of fresh, delicious foods which were beautifully arranged and were as delicious as they looked! Overall we had a very enjoyable stay and would heartily recommend Hotel Portbo to other travelers."
