Painted Lady Lavender Farm

Internet access is OK (not great but OK). Had to rearrange the furniture in my room to be useful (I don't know if the staff moved a table or someone in the room previously to me but the bedside table and another table were misplaced - I fixed that. I wanted to stay an extra night and the staff were helpful but it was OUTRAGEOUS even with a discount for one night of that room. The outside needs a bit of a fix up. And their driveway in is FULL of HUGE potholes that need fixing. Their parking lot is taken up by some kind of containers (about 3-4 of them) which also limits the parking when they are full. They need some work for the amount they are charging. It is getting to the point where only the wealthy can travel anymore. And that is just wrong. This place isn't THAT much nicer than other places that charge way less. The staff were nice, the meals OK but a bit overpriced. It's a hotel/resort so that is unfortunate but typical of those. Menus were limited (most restaurants are doing that these days). They need more luggage carts. Hard to find one when you need one. Has many conveniences and a well stocked fitness room which I did not try (went hiking instead) but could see into it and am not sure everything worked. It was OK but overpriced compared to similar places nearby. But that is everything these days I would give it a 3.5-4.
