"La situation de la maison est au top : au calme mais assez proche des commodités et de la plage. Nous étions douze et nous n'avons pas manqué de place. La piscine, le terrain de pétanque et la table de ping-pong ont ravi les enfants. Avec la chaleur, les ventilateurs on été les bienvenus. Tout est là pour passer un superbe séjour."
Beautiful 3 bedroom townhouse located in Vila Sol in the heart of the Algarve

"We had a very pleasant three-night stay. Communication with the owner, John, and the caretaker, Daniel, was excellent throughout. Both were friendly, responsive and helpful, which made everything very easy.The house is comfortable and well equipped, including the kitchen, which has everything you need. We also really enjoyed the urbanization: it is quiet, peaceful and very well maintained, with a lovely swimming pool and beautifully kept communal areas.Although the house is generally well equipped, there is some overdue maintenance. Some of the cupboards/drawers are damaged, and some of the towel hooks have broken off and have not been replaced. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in the living room was also not cooling properly, which was a shame.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The house is comfortable, the location is excellent, and the quiet and well-maintained urbanization is a real plus when you stay with children. With some small improvements to the maintenance issues mentioned above, the property could be even better. Many thanks to John and Daniel for their excellent communication and hospitality. Be aware: The bedroom in the basement had no curtains, which we understand may be difficult to install in that particular room. However, this does mean that the streetlight outside shines directly into the room at night, making it quite bright and potentially less comfortable for light-sensitive sleepers."

"Amazing host and very well equipped villa. We went as a party of 8 with 4 children, one being a baby. The villa was well equipped with baby bath, stair gates and plastic cutlery. It also had 2 baby cots which was comfy for the children. Highly recommend!"

"Overall, this is a good hotel with excellent facilities, especially the water park, which is the highlight of the resort. There are a few areas that could be improved. The breakfast is very repetitive, with almost the same selection every day. Reception staff are polite, but there are not enough of them during busy periods, resulting in long waits. Housekeeping could also be more thorough, as the beds are not always cleaned or made to a good standard. Unfortunately, a power bank was reported missing from one of our rooms during the stay, which was disappointing. The staff could also be more friendly and welcoming. Overall, the hotel offers a pleasant stay, but improvements in these areas would make the experience even better."

"We had a fabulous stay at Villa Luzia. We travelled as an extended family party with 4 adults and 5 kids aged 17-8. Accommodations were excellent, plenty of space for everyone. The photos don’t actually do it justice as the villa is well decorated and more substantial than the photos display. The pool is fantastic and again very clean. We did a few day trips into nearby loule to visit the Saturday market, Zoomarine, vilamoura and to the close by Mar shopping centre. Car hire probably would make your life easier but we managed with one car and used Ubers also. Ubers are very easy to get and reasonably priced. Fantastic stay, we definitely hope to return."
