Located on the east side of the island, known for lush jungle beauty and just minutes from Pahoa Town, our neighborhood is outside "tourist" areas allowing you to experience real local charm. We are conveniently located within reach of black sand beaches, Volcanoes National Park, Hilo town, beautiful waterfalls, the 2018 Lava flats, and much more.

Take in spectacular views of the sunrise, the crashing waves, and the rugged volcanic shoreline from nearly every room within the home. Watch morning dolphin pods, ever present sea turtles, seasonal whales, and distant cruise ships whose guests are probably wondering who is lucky enough to be in that home!

Hand crafted Hawaiian and Pacific Island style art adorns the walls including many vintage Tapa cloths. 20 foot teak ceilings, mahogany trim, and hand made exotic wood furniture throughout complement the art through thoughtful design respectful of culture.

Kitchen:
You will love cooking meals here. A large selection of the world's finest cookware (Le Creuset) paired with an induction stove and true convection oven are at your fingertips. The kitchen also has large ocean facing windows so you can always enjoy every second of being here. We supply Kona coffee pods, tea, and decaf at out coffee bar with smart toaster too.

Bedrooms:
The primary bedroom features a luxury king bed and direct access to an oceanside lanai. The secondary bedroom has a luxury queen bed and windows which let in the wave sights and sounds. Two more daybeds are located in the living room and also feature no compromise luxury mattresses. With the sounds of the waves and quality beds, people often comment this home provides the most restful night's sleep they have ever experienced.

No A/C is needed or wanted here! Being on the ocean as well as the east side of the island where its cooler, means the home is always comfortable. Our ocean air is some of the very best air quality on the planet! Although we are still on the "Wet" side of the island, we get about 1/2 the amount of rainfall of Hilo. There are many microclimates on island, and we are in one of the very best.

The seperated lower level houses a small detached private studio which is also rented and houses a resident caretaker.
