Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Rooms we're clean and spacious. I would be helpful if water/coffee pods were supplied to enable use of the amenities, especially as the restaurant did not open until 10am during the week. When it was open, service was also great.
This was a great spot. Near the bus stop, walkable to Elbow Beach, and a very nice diner on the property. It was great to have a restaurant so close on those evenings when you want to just relax after a long day. Staff was very sweet as well.
It's pretty much one of the least expensive places to stay in Bermuda. That being said - it is next to a very cute diner with excellent food at fair prices. It has a full size fridge and stove. We bought groceries at the market which was within walking distance. It is right on the bus route so you can catch a bus to the beaches or anywhere on the island. I suggest getting a bus pass. Its a great deal with unlimited rides on ferry and buses. Its also very close (a short bus ride) from Warwick Long's Bay beach which is my favorite on the island. The only issue was the AC was struggling to keep up. We stayed cool but not cold during out visit. The weather was very hot though. Consider this place if you are on a budget based on the good location, economical food options nearby and the price.
Even though Paraquet is not in the centre of town, there is a bus right at the driveway with frequent bus service to take you either downtown or to the west end of the island (Dockyard). To go to the east end of the island (St. Georges) you just transfer at the bus station downtown. Two bus routes (2 and 7) travel right past the Paraquet, so service is frequent. The bus schedule is online. If going to Dockyard make sure that your bus shows Dockyard on the front as one bus short terms. I think it's a 7 minute (approx) ride downtown.
Our studio apartment was spacious, and very very clean.
Every staff member I dealt with, both those dealing with the accommodations and those in the restaurant, were extremely lovely and kind. I needed a few things in my kitchen to cook, and they were quick to make sure I had what I needed.
I will definitely stay there again.
No where and no one to check in. No office. Never serviced room on Day 1 -- no bed made, towels exchanged, dishes washed. No box of tissues, shampoo, lotion -- nothing. And TV does not work for any channel of streaming services shown.
We ended up booking this property for three people we could’ve opted to stay at a nicer resort, but we figured we wouldn’t spend much time in the room so something like this would be OK. Absolutely not it is super overpriced with no amenities at all. We got charged for a third person when the room is barely equipped to handle three people you have to request everything for the third person. The water came out of the faucets brown, and we were told that the pipes are old and that they are galvanized, while that may be true I’m not sure what that has to do with the customer,
That sounds more like an issue that needs to be resolved rather than a reason for why I should be taking a shower in brown Water. This was also a location that was supposed to be paid at property, but I received multiple calls to provide credit card information and pay ahead of time due to the fact that their systems are very slow and that if they have more than three people checking in it may be a problem. We actually looked into other accommodations after already paying we tried to cancel, but they only would allow us half of our money back. So we opted to stay the staff is really friendly and sweet and accommodated as much as they could. I think it’s more of a management issue. We found roaches, but they were quick to come up and clean, and we didn’t find any more after that. Not a horrible place to stay, but if you’re going to spend a lot of money, I would not recommend staying here.
too bad, owner is trying his best to make it nice.
Shower is "Dangerous" no bars to hold on to.
Floor much too slippery, no way to stop once you slide. Lot of sharp corners.
I my case, I'm handicapped, place could be live threatening and no phone. Some matts in Bathroom and around the bed would be helpful.
Owner is very nice and I feel, he will make some adjustments.
Box of Kleenex would be nice too.
Like the title says it has everything you need to cook a complete kitchen and fridge, if you don't want to cook they have a restaurant where even the outside customers go to have lunch but the best thing is the people working there they make sure you are comfortable and help you with everything you need a good feedback is that they've been doing this since 1959 when they start with the restaurant.
Hotels can be too polished with staff that recite the phrases that sound like they care. Not this one, here you will find a genuine caring staff. Ask them about Admiralty beach and how to get to the secret cave.
