Our meals were delicious, the room was clean and comfortable, the views were spectacular, the beach was immaculate and the staff were friendly and helpful. Beautiful, peaceful location and great beach. Close to Hamilton as well. Servers and bartenders are wonderful: Susie, Donnie, Mavis, and Patricia. Food at Sol i Mar is very good. Ate breakfast at the hotel daily.

This is a quaint older hotel. The rooms have been updated and are clean. Staff is friendly and accommodating. The beach is AMAZING! Great for an affordable stay in Bermuda.

Coco Reef is in a beautiful beach location with well cared for gardens. We liked the small scale and how quiet and peaceful it was. The staff were very helpful. In particular, the reception staff were able to provide us with a courtesy room on our last afternoon while we waited for our airport pick-up. The restaurant staff were also friendly and helpful, especially Susie who served us breakfast every morning with a smile and warm welcome.

This was one of the most relaxing hotel I visited in a while, very peaceful, although the weather was a little chilled for the beach and pool, the humidity made it nice for you to had a relaxing day on the beach chairs. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The view was beautiful, and the beach right in front of the hotel was absolutely stunning. You could easily spend the whole time there without needing to go anywhere else. There is also a small supermarket about a 10-minute walk from the hotel, which was very convenient. The hotel restaurant has an amazing sea view, and the food was excellent. Check-in was at 3 p.m., and the hotel was very thoughtful — they had already moved our stored luggage into our room before we arrived. The air conditioning worked very well and kept the room nice and cool. The front desk staff and housekeeping team were all very friendly and helpful. The only small downsides were that the air conditioning was a little loud, and we occasionally saw some insects. However, these did not really affect our overall experience. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely come back again.

Definitely a good place to stay if you don’t plan to hang out at the resort. Worth the lower room rate$. Room could have been cleaned better. Air conditioning was broken on the first day. Notified staff and situation was handled poorly. Front desk management is terrible. They did have it fixed by the evening. Staff in the dining area were great. Food was good. If you like a big breakfast get the breakfast package. On the plus side, they do have rugged rental cars in lot to rent. Also scooter mart is not a far walk to rent one. Overall ok stay. Just one of the lower end hotels and even locals cringe when you say your staying there. Beach at the hotel was beautiful.

Can’t beat the view from the rooms — all rooms are ocean facing. The beach is so clean, we enjoyed our walks and watching sunrise. Restaurant is pricey but everything we tried was flavorful and fresh. Staff is friendly and helpful - we felt safe and welcome.

Great location right on the ocean for a reasonable (for Bermuda) price. Facilities are a bit dated, but clean, nice & safe. While we were there they seemed to be understaffed - our room, and that of other arriving guests, was not ready at check-in time and was not so for 1 1/2 hours. Noticed the same issue for other guests on other days. Restaurant is OK, but a very nice grocery store is just a short walk away, and since the rooms have fridges, you can do some budget dining. Coco Reef is not luxe, but it is a good value given the high cost of most beach-side hotels in Bermuda.
