"The views and the room were a 10 out of 10. The owner and manager were friendly and tried to make our visit enjoyable. However, there were numerous issues with the resort. Firstly, you need a 4 wheel drive to reach the resort. We had to park our car at the bottom of the hill at the side of the road. The owner had to come get us and bring us to the resort. "Staff was great! They took the time to explain activities and things to do around there to us (with our elementary Spanish). They arranged us taxis since Uber is hard to find there. The breakfast was amazing with traditional Dominican dishes. They were very accommodating and location was great, right near the river. Beautiful to eat breakfast in the mornings. Only issue was the AC was too low, so would get hot at night. Otherwise, would definitely recommend to people coming to Jarabacoa, especially if you don't speak Spanish well, they will take care of you!"
