"There are no houses visible on this side of the river. The view to the other side is incredible. The location is quiet and peaceful. The owner was very accommodating and any of our needs were met quickly. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a beautify place to stay in the valley."

"What an amazing place! Pedro and his wife have put so much love into their farm. It was a perfect accommodation for 4 couples and a quiet respite from the big city. Great walking path, very clean, private rooms and multiple places to just hang out and enjoy the peaceful view of the river. Pedro was very responsive with any questions we had and the bonus was the baker that came to us!"

"We really enjoyed our time in Maria’s place. She gave us a lovely welcome and made us feel at home. We loved all the space and the house and grounds were beautiful. The kids loved the pool and the garden including seeing frogs in the pond! It was very easy to get to Braga and Porto, wished we could have stayed longer! Thank you!"

"The property is a luxury accommodation on an estate property three blocks from gorgeous beaches, managed by experts. A car is helpful for visiting Porto but we had a car and used FreeNow and Uber instead because they were cheaper than Porto parking. Everything in the apartment is as advertised and more."

"This estate home feels like you are worlds away from everything with spectacular river views. Yet, you are literally minutes from all the sights in Porto. Our hosts, Elsa and Philipe, were wonderful. They provided a welcome bottle of Port, along with tasty pastel de natas (look it up if you don't know what they are). I wish I had taken more notice of the number of external photographs against interior shots as the only redeeming feature of this place is the outside area. The house itself is of a very low standard. Everything feels old. Not rustic, not traditional, not authentic, OLD! "The room was big for our family of 3, we appreciated the extra space. Everything was tidy and clean, and we liked having the sink/mini-kitchen area. The area surrounding is bustling and very near to many restaurant options and a short walk across to Gaia. Although busy, from our room we were not bothered by any noise. The cleanliness around the shower could be better though (old mildew). "
