This freshly remodeled 780 sqft cabin is very inviting! Ideal for couples, small groups, and solo travelers (one dog allowed). You will enjoy the best of what the PNW has to offer. Easy access to Mt. Rainier and White Pass Ski Area. Along with hikes, trails, fishing, lakes, and so much more! Several restaurants and a grocery store are a short drive away in downtown Packwood. The very open layout consist of a large living room area, dinning, and kitchen. You'll also find two bedrooms, a bonus room with laundry, and a small bathroom. Please view the detailed pictures! The Little Elk Highlights: +After an eventful day enjoy a soak in the outdoor hot tub and look for elk or deer roaming the backyard. +Create memories around the fire pit in the large open backyard and fire up the gas grill. +Unwind in the spacious comfortable living room including a Roku TV, arcade game, and board games. +Prepare meals in the open kitchen with plenty of essentials (pots & pans, crock pot, etc.) +Utilize the bonus room w/laundry and use the dresser top space and mirror as an extension of the bathroom +Note the compact/SMALL bathroom (you'll be too busy enjoying the rest of the awesome cabin and area to even notice) +ONE pup friendly +Outdoor community swimming pool and golf accessible via the Country Club for a small fee. Guest agrees to waive any claim whatsoever against the Owner of the property for accidents or injury arising from the use of the hot tub. Guest agrees that he/she is responsible and liable for any damages that occur to the hot tub through their or their guest's misuse or negligence. Should the Guest or Guest’s guests contaminate the water with sand or suntan lotion by not abiding by the rules, the guest agrees to an additional charge of $400.00 to cover the cost to drain, clean, and refill the tub and remediate the contamination to the filtering system. A little chilly and not any great views of anything, no good outdoor space, no dishwasher, and super small bathroom, but the laundry set up is nice, the interior is nice, and the hot tub was hot! It is tiny, but we knew what to expect so it wasn’t a surprise and it fit our needs. The hot tub was clean, hot, and a wonderful way to wind down after skiing. You can tell a lot of thought was put into all the details in ensuring guests’ needs and comforts were met. We liked being so close to Mount Rainier National Park for daily hiking although we had to be be in the park before 7am each day due to the new time entry system that was always sold out. The host was responsive and helpful. We had fun playing the arcade game. A dishwasher would have been nice as who wants to do dishes on vacation. The master bedroom bed is only accessed by one side so my spouse would have to crawl over me to get up during the night but that was part of the fun. The negative experience was the sap from the trees near the cabin that was dumped on our car after a storm the first night. It took me several hours to clean it off the roof, all the car panels, windshields and door handles. Park away from the trees! ##### Dan R. My husband and I had a wonderful stay at The Little Elk Cabin in Packwood, Washington. The property was exactly as described, and we found it to be the perfect retreat after a day of exploring Mount Rainier. The cabin is nestled in a quiet neighborhood, which made for peaceful mornings and restful evenings. The hot tub was a fantastic bonus, perfect for relaxing and soaking in the serene surroundings after a long hike. The small bathroom, as noted in the listing, was not an issue for us and was more than adequate for our needs. Additionally, the washer and dryer were a great bonus, allowing us to pack lighter and refresh our gear after a day out. If you plan on cooking and traveling from Seattle, we highly recommend grabbing groceries at the QFC in Enumclaw, WA There’s an IGA in Packwood, but the selection is small and a few restaurants nearby as well. We visited Packwood Brewing Co., which is not to be missed—great food, excellent beer, live music, and friendly people. The cabin’s location, close to the Paradise entrance of Mount Rainier, made our daily adventures easy and accessible. The hosts were communicative and ensured that we had everything we needed for a great stay. We highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a serene and well-located getaway! ##### Morgan W. Bathroom is absolutely tiny but the owner is up front on their listing. Bedroom with queen is really small nowhere to put anything. There is nowhere to hang outside at all. The cabin is close to town if you need to pick up groceries or want to dine at a local restaurant. There are lots of hiking trails nearby. The darling fireplace gives the space a cozy feeling. We used the hot daily and it was so relaxing and fun for our kiddos. There are plenty of games for children, ours are ages 8, and 9\.
