Cowlitz River access is just across the road and a small walking distance away. There are many dvd movies to watch, CDs for listening & books to read. Build a campfire, look at the stars, read a book, or just enjoy the elk walking by. The house sleeps 2 (Queen bed), 1 on a sofa (if you wish but it is not a hide-a-bed). I love decorating so every room has special touches to make it homey and comfortable. If you are looking for sterile plain surroundings this is not the place for you. It has been decorated as my very own home and it is comfortable warm and inviting! I love Packwood and I love the mountains! The location couldn’t have been more convenient and the place was very charming! It was well stocked and decorated making our stay feel much more personal and homey.
