A really comfortable and charming stay. We especially loved waking to the Elk. Location was really nice… and the hot tub perfect after long hikes in Rainier! Only one thing would have been nice… better fans.
It is a great rental and we had wonderful time. It's worth noting that this cabin will sleep six very comfortably but eating together for a group that size would be tough. The only table that would accommodate that size of group is outdoors
Beautiful setting just a stone’s throw away from town center. Great remodeled kitchen. Temperatures were hot in Packwood but we made do with the fans—thank you for those! It was perfect for three people but would be tight for six. I would definitely rent again.
Clean, thoughtful details. Super close to town and comprehensive grocery. Herd of elk grazed through the backyard and creek one evening, hot tub perfect accent to an already serene environment. Kitchen well equipped. DVD library fun and diverse. Beautiful view from kitchen. Wish the burn ban wasn’t in effect bc the fire pit would have been clutch. Mini-split offered AC in 80-90 deg heat keeping the cabin very comfortable. Washer and dryer with supplied pods made it easy to prep for trip home. 30min drive to east entrance of Steven’s Canyon and Rainier Park. Hate to pump them up lest they be booked when we hope to return.
As a first-time vrbo’er, I was apprehensive about the whole process but I couldn’t be happier with this choice! The cabin was clean, comfortable; location was dreamy as it was close enough to town yet rural enough to have the elk meander around each morning and evening. We wish we could have had a camp fire but because of the high fire risk to the area, we weren’t allowed.
All in all, we had a perfect time at the property. Only one drawback was the lack of a dining table which made game night challenging. There is a small 2 chair bistro table but it couldn’t accommodate a family.
However, it won’t keep us from renting it again! We loved it!!
