Pros: location staff
Cons: breakfast
Location: about 2hr30 3 hr drive from Nadi lovely location with some great beaches etc great diving near by including some great snorkeling a few minutes away.
Only a short stay but enjoyed it lots rooms were clean and tidy staff very friendly only issue was the breakfast which needed some work very basic and of a poor standard.

Amazing spot to travel with kids

Posted 03-Aug-2017
Really lovely spot but the thing that made it for us was the amazing staff! They were so great with our 1 year old daughter and nothing was ever a fuss. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again

the old complex of the hotel should be closed.

Posted 24-Jul-2017
Pros: nothing.
Cons: as listed above
the old complex was really basic and old, the room furniture are old and the lounge in the rest & bar had stains on it. the room floor wasn't clean and the bed was old and very uncomfortable to sleep on. in 2 days we had back issues. the new complex was very clean and well maintained. Expedia should not offer old room to their guest. breakfast that is included is very basic. you can not request how you want egg made etc. the facilities in old complex such as bar and rest is very dark and old.

Really lovely break

Posted 14-Jul-2017
Pros: The views, the beach, the spa. Kayaking on the nearby canals.
Cons: Breakfast could be better. The pool area was a bit tired.
Location: Snorkelling on Beqa Island. The Arts Village nearby has lots of good restaurants.
Fly to Suva as the drive from Nadi is long and tiring. The hotel is really lovely and the staff fantastic. We were upgraded to a lovely room overlooking the marina out to sea.

Wonderful experience-we loved it!

Posted 13-Jul-2017
Pros: Staff in particular--all were so warm and helpful and ensured our safety.
Cons: Notifying guests of program changes
Location: The arts village has great shopping and food and is an easy walk from the hotel. There were wonderful activities we could join in on. Lots of fun.
The only disappointment was that the expected fire walking and meke were cancelled because of a famous rugby player's wedding and we were not notified at all, nor was it rescheduled or another location offered. It was one of the main reasons we chose to stay there. Otherwise, the staff were vigilant about keeping us safe and the room clean. We loved everything else about our stay there.

Stayed on the old side of the resort. Its like it had been forgotten abit in cleaniless and care. Our bedding wasn't changed, they just re-made the bed even though we left the sign out to get new sheets. There was a rotten cucumber in the fridge when we got there and ants. Dinner was best at the 'Deli', than the main restaurant. Would recommend to spend more and stay on the newer side of the resort for a more looked after room.

room with awesome views...peaceful and serene

Posted 12-Jul-2017
Pros: Great views from the bedroom, walks on the beach, awesome food, loved the live music, guy on the guitar
Cons: Mattress was uncomfortable, gave a back ache, used to our expensive inner spring mattress
Location: Liked the arts village close by. We didn't go on the river boat ride but knew that was around. Thought about booking the fine dining but had buffet
Great place with breathtaking views. Had 2 days in a beautiful private setting.

There are two different wings in the hotel. The old one is downright disgusting and the new one is beautiful. One of the taxi drivers from the hotel was supposed to take me to Suva. he was completely inappropriate. As a single girl I want to feel safe traveling out of my country. I also noticed ants in my breakfast.

Beautiful location

Posted 07-Jul-2017
We stay at Pearl every once a year on our holidays. We absolutely love it . On my last stay we called for a porter who came to our room and we were prepping to leave and he just took of without asking anything or talking to us. We had other bags and items that we had to carry ourselves to the reception area. I was quite annoyed by that .

Four day visit

Posted 07-Jul-2017
Pros: Friendly staff, excellent breakfast if UK and Indian styles - bacon, eggs, sargasso, toast, fruit and other delights.
Cons: Ground floor of old part of hotel advertise ocean view but this is mostly not seen due to huge planters in front of the rooms.
Location: Great location
Nice rebound from a poor check in experience where they never had the two beds in each of the three bedrooms we booked. They upgraded us the next day to the new part of the hotel with a better ocean view. The new rooms are smaller, modern and may not suit everyone versus the old part of the hotel having rooms of a much larger style.
