    The Salty Dog is a classic older beach house full of character. While we take great pride in keeping it clean, comfortable, and well cared for, some of its original quirks remain. One thing you may notice is that the floors are a bit uneven in places—most noticeably in the hallway outside the bedrooms. It’s part of the charm of an older coastal home, and while it doesn’t bother us, we like to mention it so guests know what to expect.

This house is close to the beach. It’s well stocked for cooking. Market is right around the corner, if you need something. I like the fact that their furniture is leather, their living room has a nice set up, we ended up watching a movie most nights before bedtime. Cozy house, would stay here again.

The Salty Dog Beach House was great for our clamming trip. The rental price was reasonable. I enjoyed the cute beach decor and it had a nice assortment of games. The check-in info was a bit piecemeal but this is a new rental so I assume this will be ironed out. (I had to really search for the address. I needed to ask for both the door code and then the WiFi)

The Salty Dog was the perfect, cozy little getaway for me and my family. Clean and spacious with comfortable beds and plenty of room to relax. There are definitely gentle slopes in the flooring in some of the rooms, but it was kind of charming in my honest and weird opinion. I loved all the dog decor that really underscored it is a dog-friendly abode. Easy check-in process and Jessica provided plenty of great info about the area. She was responsive to my questions and I always appreciate an easy checkout process that doesn't make me feel like I am the cleaning crew. This home is literally steps away from the beach. I can tell this is a haven for razor clamming (too bad our family has allergies). Definitely would not hesitate renting from Jessica again.
