Parking info wasn't great, most of the nearby area is permit holders only, would have used park and ride if we'd have known. Cleanliness very poor. General upkeep was also very poor, outdated decor, en-suite was in desperate need for some maintenance. Very small, bedside light didn't work, quite a walk to the shower/toilet. Also, I paid in cash as they requested, but there was no communication, and the owner was quite rude, telling me "not to move", until he had confirmed that I had paid. I offered to pay upon arrival, but they were keen to get cash instead of card! I noticed some cleanliness issues with the provided glass and mug. There was rust on the towel railings. The shower's hot water is low pressure, or at least it was in my top-floor room. I could hear other guests quite audibly during the late evening. Sound dampening could be an option. A hot breakfast cost £7\.
