Located in Jericho, a ten minute walk to the centre of Oxford for six people in three bedrooms. A separate dressing room can accommodate an extra guest on an occasional single bed making a maximum of seven. Perfect for families, groups or those who appreciate a little more luxury in their stay. Please note that a refundable security deposit of £750 is required to book this property. Large open plan kitchen/dining room with American fridge freezer, high quality Siemens Appliances and under-floor heating. Comfortable seating and stunning views of the garden and Oxford landmarks beyond. Double doors lead to carefully landscaped garden with two patio areas, plenty of beautiful planting and views of the Observatory and the Blavatnik School of Government building. Enjoy lounging on the outdoor all weather sofa. Further down the long garden, there is an outdoor dining area at the rear. A Garden Study/Office at rear of garden, with full internet access, a desk and armchair, has stunning views back towards the house and makes the perfect space for work or rest. On the lower ground floor, with under-floor heating throughout, there's a spacious Twin bedroom with its own family bathroom and over-bath shower. Next to this is a Utility room and a large Living/ media room with Apple TV, 3D Blu-Ray and 55" TV. This leads to a patio area with plants and table and chairs. Steps lead up to the garden. On the first floor there is one Kingsize bedroom, with large wardrobe, Smart wall-mounted TV and plenty of space. Further down the landing is the Master Super King/ Twin bedroom with a separate dressing room, with designer furniture, more original artwork and stunning garden views. Luxurious family bathroom with double sink, double-ended bath and separate shower. Relax in the bathtub with views of the sky above you. There is high speed unlimited internet throughout the house, and a multi-room SONOS audio system. There are Smart HD flat-screen TVs in the media room, kitchen and Kingsize bedroom. Furniture has been beautifully curated, including many designer and high-end pieces to give that boutique hotel feel. Artwork throughout is mostly original or limited edition by local artists. Off street garage parking for one small compact car available upon request in a nearby street. Guest access: Check-in time is 15:00 and Check-out time is 10:00. Guests can check in with a keypad. Keys are available inside the property or guests can use an app to access the property. Other things to note: Shorter bookings may become available on a last minute basis. For bookings longer than 28 days or to make any other enquiry, please message us. Jericho is a historic suburb of Oxford, a short walk from the city centre with its historic buildings, colleges, museums and shops. The neighbourhood has a range of independent shops, cafés, restaurants, a cinema and bars and has an off-beat vibe. Many roads in Jericho have featured in the TV drama: Inspector Morse and Lewis. We recommend Gail's Bakery on Little Clarendon Street, the Jericho Café and Branca Italian Deli and Restaurant, both at the end of Observatory Street. The train station is just fifteen minutes walk away and the bus station around ten minutes walk. Oxford is a small city so you can get to most places by walking. The central bus station is located on George Street, from where you can get a bus to the surrounding areas, as well as London and southern airports. We loved the house itself - well equipped, and plenty of space inside and out. Communication was excellent and we felt very welcome. The house was perfect for me, my wife and our guests. When we had people over we used the excellent kitchen with two ovens and microwave, dishwasher and convection stove top. We twice had dinners for eight and were able to seat everyone comfortably at a great table by the door to the garden. When we had evenings at home we spent them by the fire in the lovely snug room at the front of the house. The vibrant neighborhood of Jericho was a pleasure as well. Literally two minutes’ walk away were two great cafés, one with a fine deli, plus a great Greek deli and fine Indian restaurant, a superb bistro and a lovely pub. I loved best the separate small house at the bottom of the garden – a ten by ten foot warm writing room with one wall of glass – a perfect retreat which I shall miss very much. Our hostess, Rosie, was tremendously helpful and welcoming. When I return to Oxford I will certainly be in touch with her again. ##### Alexandra W.
