RockinC Cabin. Private cabin in the tall trees. On a120 acre farm.
If you want to get away from it all and still have the comforts of home, The cabin is placed in a forest with a view of the surrounding meadows and hills. Really love the location, the quite, and the fact that it was central to many attractions in the area. Jerrold and Laura were very responsive to us when necessary. Really enjoyed the location.
It was a great place to stay! We loved everything about it. If you're looking for something private, nature, and beautiful, this is it.

If your looking for a peaceful getaway in the beautiful country side of Kentucky this is the place to go. The cabin was beautiful - clean, secluded and quiet. The owner was very kind and communicated to make sure all went well.
This property is a great get away. It is on a beautiful property. There’s a lot to do in the surrounding areas like the Ark Encounter, Creation Museum, and Newport Aquarium. If you need a home away from home this is it. I would highly recommend it!
The property is in a secluded area with complete and total privacy and is very clean and very quiet at night. When it rains outside, it is so nice to hear the rain on the tin roof. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay and it will comfortably accommodate a family.

This cabin was a wonderful suprise! We enjoyed the peacefulness of being in the middle of the woods. Definitely cant wait to come back again! We enjoyed the ark while there and also went into ohio and spent the day there and enjoyed a 4 mile hike to enjoy some beautiful waterfalls and scenery!
Everything was exactly as described it was very clean extremely quiet very peaceful I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from every day life and just relax and enjoy nature we will definitely be back
We needed a quiet weekend away and this was the perfect location! Tucked away in the woods, surrounded by nature. We watched the fireflies and enjoyed the quiet. We didn’t see another person the entire stay. Definitely on the recommendation list
Lots of windows for the view. Amenities were good for us two - HVAC, shower, tub, kitchen, etc. nicely private with great views from the deck and areas to walk in a woodsy environment. Saw a couple of deer several times
I loved the seclusion and getting somewhere to where you can just renew your mind and step away from the weight of life and get rest for your body and soul. It's very much appreciated!!! I love it there!!!
Cabin setting was so peaceful and felt like you were sleeping in a treehouse. We loved it, but just needed more time to sit and be still. We would definitely stay there again. We had no cell reception in Owenton and that complicated us getting to the cabin at first, but overall it was a great trip.

Our stay was great. Quiet and very scenic. It was like being in a tree house. Only thing I would have liked to have internet access. You can't get any internet even though you could make a call from your cell phone.
We stayed 3 nights. Place was well stocked with what you would need to cook with. The property is beautiful, saw deer in the morning and if you are a birdwatcher there are plenty of birds including woodpeckers and Eastern bluebirds. Beds are comfortable and the ceiling to floor windows are great. We enjoyed the sunsets and peacefulness. You will need to make any stops for food before you get there it is remote and cel reception isnt great, but thats a good thing if you are looking for remote and peaceful. We would definitely stay here again.
My husband and I planned a trip to go see the Ark and creation Museum and wanted a cabin in the woods to enjoy seclusion and quiet nature. Rockin C cabin was all that and more! Complete amenities of home! Comfortable beds, hot shower and cool front porch breeze. I loved there was no curtains and the open windows felt like you were sleeping in a treehouse, but without bugs! I recommend 10 out of 10! The hosts were great! Communication was great, and we were left to ourselves to enjoy! Book this cabin. Its through the woods to get there but you will NOT regret! The seclusion is what you want!
Property was clean and as described. We stayed in 11 places on our road trip and this property was last place in overall appearance, presentation, preparation and details. Of the two beds, one mattress was good. The other bed sloped to the middle.Overall, lots of the fixtures and cabinets were showing age. With a few upgrades & maintenance & presentation it could be a 5 star in all areas. Compared to the 11 places we stayed in this property was slightly overpriced. Also, a better coffee maker and coffee supplies would have helped. For privacy this was the best. Very secluded as described.

Listed exactly as stated... peaceful & serene; secluded in the trees with rolling hills & fields! A lil taste of heaven on earth! And the vast amount of picture windows transports you right out into the surrounding landscape giving you the feeling of being one with the nature! Experiencing the mightiness of a thunderstorm & watching the sky light up as dark fell & hearing the rains on the tin roof; then waking up as dawn seeped through the skylight windows above & the morning light brightened your being as ya began your day! The whole experience was simply spectacular & we will retain the hope of returning to this magnificent place again one day soon!
There isn't a more amazing place to get away to. We plan to make it a yearly retreat!
It's quiet, beautiful and wow just words can't really describe it unless you're there.
As mentioned the steps are a little steep from top to bottom floor, which was fine, but for me at night i was a little too worried as i take a medicine that makes me a little dizzy. No worries though because the downstairs was large enough to accommodate a fullsize air mattress that we left set up the whole trip.
If you have a truck or suv over a car, take it... we had a little damage to the underside of our car because it scraped on spots on the long driveway, which we kind of expected to be an issue as we were driving so far of the road.
The owners are great at communication and you can tell they take pride in their property.
Get groceries well before you get there, because theres only a save a lot and dollar general semi close.
Youre still only an hour away or so from Cleveland, 35 minutes from the ark encounter etc. So things to do if you dont mind a drive, but set back in away from the world for a perfect peaceful getaway.
We loved it. I already miss it!
