If you enjoy ‘historical architecture’, Carregal do Viriato is the place to stay. The neighbourhood buildings, narrow streets & cobblestone roads transport you to the past.Thank you Antonio & Eva for a memorable week, and we...

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful palace and it was truly great value for money. The rooms were very clean and well maintained, with daily cleaning service that made our stay even more comfortable. The location is stunning, surrounded by nature and peaceful countryside, with lovely farm animals adding to the charm. One of our favourite parts was the amazing wildlife pond filled with frogs and beautiful water lilies, as well as the picturesque olive orchard. The breakfast buffet was...

This hotel was just amazing. From the building itself, to the rooms, to the staff, the pool and especially the food in the restaurant. Definitely the highlight of our motorcycle trip. Safe off-road parking too which was a plus. Previous reviewers complained about the road up to the hotel (absolutely fine - just a normal road) and the wi-fi (worked perfectly plus good 4G signal). I would be hard put to find anything to complain about this stunning oasis. All the staff were perfectly polite and...
