"...das traumhaft schön direkt am Canal du Nivernais liegt. Wir haben die Tage dort sehr genossen. Das Haus wurde von den Eigentümern selbst liebevoll renoviert, restauriert und modernisiert. Wie groß die Leistung der Eigentümer ist, erfasst man erst, wenn man sich das im Haus befindliche Fotobuch ansieht. So sind Haus und Garten sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und gestaltet. Ein gemütliches Wohnzimmer mit einem großen Esstisch, einer gemütlichen Couch und bequemen Sesseln lädt zum Wohlfühlen...

"We loved our stay at the house, lovely long garden and super pool (after we asked for it to be cleaned). The outside covered eating and bbq area was perfect. This is a “shabby chic” property with an unpredictable oven and NO air conditioning. But still a lovely family home."

"We stayed for 5 nights to recuperate on our European tour. Amazing traditional property with lots of space for 5 children, and outside space for dining with use of the BBQ. We loved the outside space and pool to cool off - so much space. Relaxing, calm and tranquil. Fabien was on site if we needed anything. It felt very much like home for us with the animals and greeted by the dog when we came home each day."

"Nous ne sommes restés qu'une nuit, courant mars. Le gîte est fonctionnel et, une fois le chauffage mis, agréable. Il est très bien situé, à la fois sur la route vers Vezelay et pourtant au calme. Il est clair qu'il y a beaucoup de choses que nous aurions pu faire si nous n'avions pas été sur une simple étape. Nos hôtes étaient très accueillants. Comme certains l'ont dit, gîte rustique. Correspond bien à l'ambiance du coin : nous sommes à la campagne!"

"Not to be mistaken for a hotel, this is a self service set of prehistoric rooms, except for the pricing. Cleanliness is subpar, towels are older than my grandmother, and air conditioning is not a technology that has reached this part of the world. I was desperate to get some rest, but good luck doing so in 30 deg C temperature with no air conditioning. Oh and not to forget the noise from the restaurant downstairs right beneath my window. I arrived in the afternoon around 3pm to find the door locked and nobody there but a sign that says call these 2 numbers. First number, voicemail, so i try the second and the voice on the other side of the line instructs me to find the key to my room AND the key to the damn hotel entrance in a secret box. So i do, and I go in only to find the place so dark I have to turn on the flashlight on my phone. With luck I find the light switch to the hallway, but the light is so dim I have to keep the flashlight on. The interior is dilapidated and a reflection of an owner that has given up a very long time ago and now is milking the place for the last few pennies. Disappointing experience."

"We loved the property. Although it’s old in a goed way, it was also very clean. We loved the outdoor areas too. You do have to drive a bit to buy your bread but it’s worth it. Details we loved: there was a bottle of good white wine offered to us, if we had a question, like “where can we buy some good wine”, we got their personal list of vineyards and when we ware all admiring the water wheel, the owner took the effort of removing the top cover so we could enjoy the wheel turning. Lovely people! Also, there was firewood waiting in the fireplace, ready to go and there was charcoal available for the bbq. We hope to visit again."
