Arriving already stressed, we were grateful for the little touches the manager of this property provided, making our stay simple, easy and comfortable. There was coffee, condiments, all the cooking supplies we needed. I had even made an error on our booking and had booked an extra day, which the (very responsive) owner promptly refunded without skipping a beat. I was a little worried. However, once inside, this is a great apartment! The fan in the bedroom kept us cool at night, the kitchen had everything we needed and more and we took advantage of having a washing machine and dryer. We walked across the bridge into the city. The property also included off street parking. The door to the house was on the side of the building and near trash bins, so not that convenient. And the entrance to the space was a steep stairway. But the actual space was quite nice with a full kitchen that was well stocked, living room, and comfortable bedroom. The bathroom had a few issues with the shower. There was plenty of towels, bedding, sleep spaces, etc. The location is ok. It's not the most beautiful neighbourhood, but there is a fun park a short walk away that my kids enjoyed and it's a short drive to downtown Ottawa.
