My one-night stay at Spitzkoppe Lodge was far too short — I genuinely wish I had been able to stay for three nights or more. It is a difficult place to describe properly because the experience is so much more than simply beautiful accommodation in an extraordinary setting. From the dramatic granite landscape and vast desert skies to the sense of peace, space, and connection with nature, everything feels uniquely special. The lodge offers the rare opportunity to slow down and appreciate a part of Namibia that has to be seen and felt in person. Even with only one night, Spitzkoppe Lodge left a lasting impression on me. It is one of those places that photographs and words cannot fully capture; you simply have to experience it for yourself at least once. I would return without hesitation — and next time, I will definitely stay longer.

Positive: It’s a great place, great staff and it’s great place to stay before visiting Susvelei.they offer many tours and can help you with an itinerary and transportation as a package. Negative: the wifi didn’t work. Not sure if this is an on going issue or just when we were there. The pool water is extremely cold in the winter. I wish they had a way to warm the water or turn it into a Jacuzzi. I wish dinner included more traditional Namibian food options to try instead of mainly western food.
