From this inviting vacation home you can directly access the sandy beach. The living room is nicely furnished with a sitting area, dining table and patio door to the furnished balcony. The vacation home has a fully equipped kitchen, 2 well appointed bedrooms, a separate toilet and a nice bathroom with a spacious shower and 2 sinks. You can easily reach the nearby restaurants and stores on foot. Crib and high chair for rent. Despite the small population, the port city of Ostend is very lively and full of entertainment, it is only 35 kilometers from the Dutch border. It is a good idea to visit the Kursaal after a nice day at the beach, where you will find entertainment, variety and excitement in the concert hall, restaurant and great casino. In Ostend there are excellent shopping opportunities, such as in the famous Chapel Street. Some cultural treasures, including the open-air museum Atlantikwall, the museum ship Amandine, the church of St. Peter and Paul, Fort Napoleon and the former, royal summer residence are definitely worth a visit. Handtücher und Bettwäsche selbst mitbringen oder gegen Gebühr ausleihen. Die Wohnung liegt im 7\. Stock (mit Fahrstuhl) und vom Eßtisch am Fenster sowie vom mittelgroßem Balkon mit Sesseln hat man einen phantastischen Ausblick über den kilometerlangen breiten Sandstrand und auf die Nordsee. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man so braucht und das Badezimmer geräumig mit großer Dusche. WC ist extra. Sauberkeit der Wohnung war sehr gut.Das Haus liegt direkt an der Strandpromenade, nur durch eine schmale Straße mit wenig Verkehr von dieser getrennt. Auf der Strandpromenade braucht man zu Fuß etwa 30-40 min ins Zentrum von Oostende, man kann aber auch durchgängig am Strand entlang laufen. Der Strand erstreckt sich kilometerlang von De Panne im Westen bis Knokke im Osten, Oostende liegt in etwa dazwischen. Man kann auch mit der "Kusttram" fahren, die die beiden og. Orte verbindet. Der schöne Ort Brügge ist nicht weit weg und einen Besuch wert. Wir haben unseren 8-tägigen Urlaub in Oostende sehr genossen und können die Ferienwohnung absolut weiterempfehlen. Einziger Wermutstropfen ist die leicht angespannte Parksituation: in der Nähe der Wohnung (5 Gehminuten) sind 2 große öffentliche kostenlose Parkflächen, dort war aber nicht immer was frei. Vor dem Haus sind gebührenpflichtige Parkplätze. ##### Claudia H. Eenmaal op locatie door de toegangsdeur loop je een schuifdeur door en zie je direct rechts een donkere deur, daar doorheen en links ervan is de niet al te grote lift. Eenmaal in het appartement verraste ons alles. Een mooi appartement met geweldig uitzicht. Een ruime kamer met eethoek, een keuken met alles aanwezig, een aparte toilet en een ruime badkamer. Twee slaapkamers met in totaal 5 slaapplekken. Het zag er schoon en goed uit, af en toe zou er wat klein onderhoud geplaagd mogen worden maar het was schoon. Een beschrijving voor de tv afstandbediening zou handig zijn. Ich habe das Gefühl dass ein anderes Appartement -ähnlich aber frisch renoviert - fotografiert wurde. Vor allem das Badezimmer und die Küche sind veraltet und lieblos in stand gehalten.
