Osmondthorpe Holidays from £426

It’s not my first time staying at this hotel, and once again it didn’t disappoint. I booked a king size room which was as expected. Everything you would expect in the room; hairdryer, nice towels, hot drink facilities, nice bathroom with a decent shower, and body wash and shampoo/conditioner. The staff as always were friendly, accommodating and helpful throughout my stay. I purchased breakfast, one evening meal taken to my room and wine, all of which were of good quality with careful preparation. Reduced car parking fees just around the corner was also a bonus. Thank you to all who made my stay as pleasant as it was. Until next year …

The need to have ID for every adult in the flat for "health and safety" reasons is ridiculous. The flat itself was very nice though.

Impressive building with lovely grounds; however unfortunately our room did not live up to the same standard with wine bottles & beer cans left at the door on entry, along with the odour from the previous guests takeaway. Thankfully the staff were able to accommodate a different room for our stay, but it is worth noting the rooms both shared a rather tired appearance and we left a little deflated bearing in mind the room rate.

This hotel is ideal for a short stay and is conveniently located within walking distance of the train station.

Newly refurbished and nicely done. Overall the hotel is a 5 out of 5. Breakfast used good quality ingredients, but staff were overwhelmed at what was clearly a peak time- hash browns still frozen solid in the middle and most other items cold. Unhelpful lady on Sunday morning too- I asked where the eggs were and was told they were "over there" when they clearly weren't. It would have taken her 2 extra seconds to help. Maybe just a bad day. Also parking isn't really an option as advertised. There are less than 20 spaces which are already full at the 3pm check in time, so I wasted 20 minutes finding somewhere else. Despite all that- would stay again at under £150 on a weekend.
