About this property

Sleeps up to five, with a queen, a full, a twin, and a futon in the living room. Shared beachfront is steps away, with fire pits and picnic tables. Full kitchen, comfortable living space, and an easy walk to Oscoda.

You'll get full check-in details before you arrive, and we're just a message or call away if anything comes up during your stay — whether that's a restaurant recommendation or the best time to catch the sunrise. Enter 3164 North US Hwy 23, Oscoda, MI, United States, 48750 into your GPS for the most accurate directions. The property sits along US‑23, so expect some road noise; most guests choose to drive to nearby towns and attractions.

The shoreline has rock barriers in place to prevent erosion, so young kids may need a hand getting into the water. Beach space is limited, but the view across Lake Huron holds up in every season.

Pets are welcome with prior approval — $25/night. Dogs should be potty-trained and under 50 lbs; if yours is bigger, reach out and we'll see what we can do. Please clean up after your pet and keep them leashed in shared spaces.

We stayed here for two nights for a tubing trip and our friends rented another cabin there as well. We stayed at cabin #3 Surfside and if I were to book again I'd definitely book cabin #6 because it was more upgraded and had more privacy when outside by the beach and firepit area. They had 6 cabins and "the main house" which is the larger house you can rent. Cabin 3 and 6 have the main view to the water as well as the main house. The other cabins didn't have views of the water or a deck to the water but there was plenty of beach space so each ground had their own space to relax. What we enjoyed about the stay:- Location and view is really what you are paying for an it was worth it to me. The cabin we got was right off the beach and we had a firepit but ours was a bit close to the house and not by the sand/water like our friend's was. The beach area was long enough to go for a nice walk along the beaxh or swim. If you go with the kids you don't even need to leave for the beach or water because it's right there. There is a Walmart amd Starbucks within 15 minutes of the cabin as well and other restaurants.-Checking in and out was very easy and you have your privacy of not having the owner or staff on the property which adds to that at home feeling for me. 10am was a bit early for a checkout and I think for the price and other locations around, checkout should be at 11am. Suggestions for a better guest experience:- Have it clear which firepits go to which cabin to avoi

Loved the beautiful beach; it was the highlight! Arrival was frustrating because the link was not working (probably a lack of service). With prior reservations, I received an email 24-48 hours prior containing address and entry information. When we arrived, I had to call and wait for someone to pick up and give us entry information, which he was hesitant to do because I hadn’t followed the link instructions. I explained the Internet/link issue, and he finally provided me the code. Additionally, we did not know that the property was part of a community, as it was not stated in the property description. It’s apparent that the place was once well-cared for; however, it was in need of TLC. Flower beds were overgrown with weeds, paint chipping, and overall a bit dumpy. The cabin itself was fine and tidy, but it lacked charm and supplies. You don’t get very many staples, so bring your own. The kitchen equipment lacked, but we made it work. The bathroom door was cracked at the bottom. Ants were a daily fight. No spices. No beach towels. No extra blankets. I love to stay in a spot where the hosts thinks of it all. This was not that place. Luckily, stores were not far away so that we could buy necessities. The grill on site was junk. I reached out to the host on the app. The next day one was delivered. My husband put it together for our steak dinner. This place could be a 10/10 spot, but it misses the mark! Lastly, management doesn’t seem local. And be advised- the cabin is small!
