I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Dresden Neustadt. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything needed for a short visit. The location is convenient, close to the city centre and easy access to local shops.

The staff are helpful. Almost everyone spoke English (not that I expected, but it was nice not to use a translation app). They asked me a few questions about why we were there and told us the easiest and cheapest way to get there. When our train departed late, they allowed a late checkout for a fee. They even helped when my taxi fell through and got us to the train station with plenty of time to spare.

"Room cold Told to move car to back lot as it was in an electric one even though there are four spaces. No spot available at back so parked beside building. Next morning i see a non electric car parked in the space I was in. Told receptionist this at check out - she offered to reimburse €15 cost but ..."

"We were visiting from the US and visiting Colditz Castle. This stop was wonderful with clean, quiet, comfortable accommodations. The water park is a big hit with the locals and visitors alike. Some of the best food we had on our trip. I'd definitely choose to stay again."
