It's the perfect location for a fishing, hunting, golfing, or just a weekend away. The closest boat access is just 4 minutes north. A quick 7-minute drive to Ortonville for two boat ramp options, restaurants, groceries, shopping, and golfing. 10 minutes to Big Stone Lake State Park with another boat ramp. Excellent hiking is only 15 minutes away at Big Stone National Wildlife Refuge. Big Stone Lake boasts excellent fishing year-round, and the surrounding area is great for hunting pheasants, deer, ducks, and geese.

The cabin features central air and furnace, smart TV, wi-fi, hair dryer, iron, well-appointed kitchen, coffee maker, Keurig, washer, and dryer. In the summer enjoy our deck, outdoor seating, awning, fire pit, and grill.

Perfect For Our Group

The cabin worked perfectly for our group of 5 friends to get away for the weekend. Location was great. Close to town if you needed something but far enough away so you didn't feel like you were right in town. The cabin was clean and ready for us when we arrived and we were even able to get in early which was great. We would stay again with this size group. Thank you for the great weekend.

Great lot, great location, perfect fisherman's accommodations. Nice dock and lift was good for our 18' v-bottom. Cabin was quaint and had everything we needed. Supper club a 1/4 mile away was a very nice bonus. Definitely will stay again.

Big Stone Cabin

Had a wonderful weekend getaway stay with friends. Property clean and neat. Boat lift was a plus as we spent sometime fishing on the lake. Accommodations were pleasing, comfortable and easy to find. Lakefront view, fire pit, patio area and grill, all added to the experience.

Last minute long weekend family time

Property is good value for the cost, no negatives on this property except wish it had more than 2 bedrooms because with a 7 mo & 3 yr old trying to find quiet locations for naps and bedtime was difficult and lake off dock was full of seaweed on MN side.
