It is brand new construction, similar to a vacation condo type unit, split level, and shares a common driveway and a very large outdoor deck on the fjord with three other units of similar vintage. Parking was very convenient with a door leading from the car park straight to the hotel elevator. We were able to check in early and the requested cot was already set up in our room. The room was spacious, modern and comfortable with a bath, which is ideal with a little one! Breakfast was fantastic with lots of choice. The hotel is conveniently located for exploring Ålesund. We highly recommend. The bed and linens were very comfortable; it was hard to get up early from the bed for early Fjord boat trip. There was a table with four chairs.
