#### Displaced and Disrespected by VRBO

We booked a VRBO home almost a year in advance for a family reunion in Florida. When we arrived — including senior citizens who flew in — we found the property had no running water. The host canceled on us after we unpacked, and we were left with nowhere to go.VRBO promised we were covered under their “Book with Confidence” guarantee. That was a lie. We were told we’d be reimbursed for a new place, even if it wasn’t through VRBO — as long as it was equal or less in cost. We followed every instruction. Then, after the fact, they denied reimbursement.We came for peace and joy. VRBO gave us chaos, stress, and a broken promise. Don’t trust their guarantee. They left us stranded.
