GAMES ROOM The kid’s (and men’s) favorite room: the Game Room! This Game Room features a Pool Table, Air Hockey Table, Foosball table and darts! UPSTAIRS LOFT - THE RETREAT Oh, the loft! This room features a not only beautiful, but comfortable, sectional couch! The loft is truly a retreat for a single or couple to relax while part of the group is away or in another part of the house. 50” flat screen TV. This TV is also set up with a Roku device. LAUNDRY There is a full size washer and dryer (2 dryer balls), iron and ironing board, and pool towels. POOL and SPA/HOT TUB Loved by all is the private, east facing pool and spa/hot tub. Relax on one of the 4 sun loungers or enjoy al fresco dining (dining set for 6)! \* The pool in this home can be heated on request and is an optional extra. It can be heated for a minimum of 5 consecutive days ($175 plus tax) and the cost for heat is $35 for each night plus tax. If during the course of your stay, you decide to purchase pool heat, then there is an additional charge to cover the cost of sending out a technician to activate the system which is $40. \* Pool heat is set to 88 F and the hot tub is set to 100-102 F. \* Pool heat timer runs from 7am - 11pm. There is more than enough space. We had 6 people and could've doubled that. Beds comfy. The pool and hot tub were used daily and were heated well. Washer and dryer available. Starting supply of paper, cleaning supplies. Communication with the rental agents was excellent. Very quick to respond. Our only concern was the resort itself, very busy, very crowded, very long lines to get in and out of the property, security does not control some renters behavior or speeding throughout the neighborhood. A few notes: there is a resort fee of around 35 for your entire stay, also do not attempt to bring in any outside food or beverages (except water). Your bags are searched just like TSA. 2) Location is great, close to shopping, easy access to I-4 and the parks. Expect a traffic jam outside the gated entrance on check-in days. 3) Size of the house - there is ample room for all of your guests, and most will get their own bathroom.Now for the cons: We have stayed in many short-term rentals. This one is simply average. 1) There is a lot of wear-and-tear with everything from the furniture to the carpet. The owner really needs to spend some time inspecting the house and make necessary updates, upgrades, and general maintenance. It's so sad because this could really be a nice home if it was properly maintained. 2) The mattress in the downstairs bedroom needs to be replaced NOW. It's like sleeping on a cardboard box, and EXTREMELY creaky. On our last night there, I was getting into bed and was stabbed by some sort of very sharp object in the palm of my hand, like a needle stick. We were unable to locate the object, but it did draw blood. 3) General lack of kitchen supplies. The communication with the letting company was very good and they answered all questions quickly and sent through a very comprehensive set of instructions and details. The Villa is very large and excellent for a large group. The pool was great especially after a long day at the park. All the bedrooms are large and well appointed with lots of storage. Also Loads of towels and linen for large groups. We only used the resort facilities once but they were very good. Also some great additions of the games room and sound bar that we could connect too to Play music. The only downside was some noisy neighbours. Didn’t bother us too much but would have been an issue if we had younger children. We are a family that like to cook even on holiday. This was slightly hampered by the lack of cooking pots and pans. The layout was great and allowed us all the space we needed to relax after a day at the parks. The kids loved swimming late at night and absolutely loved having the pool to themselves. This property is beautiful and spacious! There was plenty of room for 4 adults and a15, 14 and 11 year old. (And plenty of bathrooms)! The kids enjoyed the game room (although the arcade machine didn’t work) and having a tv in each bedroom was also appreciated by the kids, though we had to buy batteries for some of the remotes. The home is decorated nicely (although the coffee table in the living room is a bit wobbly), the dining room was set beautifully with cloth napkins (it looked like a picture out of a magazine)! The bedrooms even had towels folded in pretty designs on the beds. The kitchen has the basics for pots and pans. It could use a few more smaller pots. It could also use some basic spices. I’ve stayed at other rentals and several basics were provided. We bought shakers of salt and pepper and left them for the next renters. The pool was just the right size and plenty warm enough without having it heated. (We we’re there the end of June.) It was refreshing to jump in after being out in the heat all day. I loved having it screened in - no bugs! We did have a couple of problems. 1). Noisy neighbors playing loud music until late in the evening. May not be good if you have small children. 2). The washing machine began leaking towards the end of our visit. I texted management late in the evening and they sent a maintenance man over the next day, Saturday, to look at it. They had to get a new pump for the washer so it wasn’t repaired before we left but I appreciate their quick response. Something they may want to consider is adding a few board games and puzzles to their game room. Again, this was available at other rentals. There was 1 puzzle there and we bought 1 and left it. Another addition could be books for children and/or adults. Often they can be picked up at library sales or garage sales. Overall we has a great visit! It was a wonderful place to spend time with family. I hope we will be able to return again soon! ##### Faye O.
