Quaint and Relaxing

My family and I wanted to have fun during the day at all the Disney parks but was interested in staying somewhere quaint and quiet in the evenings. This place was perfect and we would recommend it to everyone. Great price, great location and great host!

Perfect getaway!

Upon arriving nice neighborhood drive was seemed small but on our last day with multiple cars on lot it was easy to get out. I was impressed by the whole property, but the vegetation was by far my favorite thing the pool was easy to find there was so many things to keep us occupied if we needed. Owner was quick to respond and even checked in with us. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect getaway!

This hidden gem was the perfect getaway retreat! Clean and comfortable and fully stocked for all our needs. The property was green and lush and so interesting! We used the game room and hot tub as well as relaxed by the lake. The only regret was that we did not book it for more days! Jerome was an awesome host and communication was great! Thank you! We will be back!!!

Very particular host, stressful experience

Host really aggressively pressured me to give him money and refused to extend because I took a few hours later to get him a check. One of the least hospitable hosts I’ve ever met. Very stressful experience.

Weekend retreat!

Clean, quiet and in a great area. Very unique property; an oasis just off the street! We walked, jogged and enjoyed the amenities. Dreaming of a revisit.

One of my favorite Vrbo's!

This trip was for a small gathering to celebrate a friend's birthday. The property is very unique (check out the listing to see it ALL - the amenities are great!) and it made for the perfect space to hang out. Host was excellent.

The lovely Cottage

Das Mills Cottage liegt traumhaft und ist von kleinen Seen und einer tollen Wohngegend umgeben. Es ist eine Ruheoase und doch zentral gelegen! Das Haus ist ausgestattet mit allem was man benötigt und liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Gastgeber antwortet zügig und ist sehr hilfsbereit. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen und können das Cottage jedem weiterempfehlen.

Great host, beautiful property!

We stayed here for 1 night when we went to a concert in Orlando. Jerome was super accommodating for us and our dog Dexter, and stayed in touch prior to us coming, making us feel very welcome. The property itself is very beautifully designed and extremely clean! Would love to come back just to use all of the amenities they have since our first stay was so short.

A Great Escape

This place was a pleasure to stay at, the grounds were amazing. You don’t feel like you’re in Orlando. It was nice being close enough to touristy theme park fun, but yet far enough away to feel at home when escaping the crowds. The game room was the heart of trip when not splishing and splashing at the water park. It even inspired us to purchase our own dart board for family fun. We did not get to use the beautiful pool but it was nice having the option, that and in addition the sauna and gym. The snacks available were a nice touch to keep the kids satisfied between meals. Thanks! Love the honor bar although we had our own adult beverages, it’s nice to have options. Overall great short stay and would love to visit again in the future and take that dip in the pool.

July in Orlando

Property is close to the airport and near Universal studios. The neighborhood is very cute and near Lake Eola and activities there. We had a wonderful time even though it was very warm. July in Florida is very hot, hotter than I remember.

The hosts were awesome. communicated well and handled any questions quickly and professionally. I would definitely stay again. The hosts really cared about our experience with the property. The host did such an awesome job on all the construction work. It’s a little oasis in the center of Orlando.

Unbelievable Property

This is a magical property! My son and I were blown away. It has all the charm of Key West Conch House but in Central Florida with oaks and bamboo instead of palms. Our cottage was perfect, immaculate, private, well stocked, and with all he the amenities. It even had an office off the master bedroom that met my needs perfectly. It has a REAL gym and the gameroom/bar and library are unbelievable. Can't say enough about the hosts they were super responsive and thought of everything. The location is great 5 minutes from Lake Eola and Downtown and 15 mnutes from Universal. I'm bringing the whole family next time!

Please do not start working until 9am

The only problem we had is that workers begin to do some improvements on the property at 6:30am!!!! Too early! Shook the whole room!!! I think the pool should have been cleaner and should be included in the cost of the room. We would have taken advantage of the pool but the cost was a little steep for an unclean pool!!! Too many leaves!!!!

Magical Property!!!

From the minute we walked in through the gate we knew we’d stumbled into a special place! Don’t think I’ll have enough room in this review to mention all the amazing details. The grounds are just beautiful! Garden setting throughout, with gorgeous pool, stunning oaks, surprise walkways that make you feel like just saying “ahhhhhh”. I wish we would’ve had time to enjoy the fantastic amenities- a tucked away Sauna, separate gym, fun game room with awesome bar, pool table, dart board, pinball games… seriously??? How cool is that? The pool is actually heated! This place is a dream! Our upstairs unit, was so absolutely adorable! Very cozy, decorated beautifully, small but very well stocked kitchen with cute marble round table for 4, great size TV with CABLE! Which by the way, Neil who’s a superhero, took the time to come up & fix for us due to previous nights bad storm. Love the wood plank ceilings painted soft blue, so soothing. I just can’t say enough about how much we loved it here!! It’s so peaceful ~ perfect escape! Jerome was quick to get back to me and took the time to call me directly to reassure me that all was well with my booking when I was concerned because it didn’t appear in my VRBO upcoming trips. I can hardly wait to stay here again!!! Thanks Jerome & Neil! You have created a beautiful haven!!
