Magical Vacation Home with Kid-Themed Rooms 3 Miles from Disney

  • Located on a cul-de-sac lot of the gated community Windsor Palms, "The Hidden Mickey" is luxuriously appointed and decorated for your total comfort. The spacious and luxurious great room opens onto the pool, and is perfect for watching your favorite shows on the flat screen TV - or just sitting down and relaxing during the day or night.

    Amenities include a well equipped kitchen, formal dining area, a breakfast bar, and Wi-Fi throughout the house. South-East facing 30ft heated (Nov-March) and screened private pool with extended deck area are perfect for soaking in the Florida sunshine - including an 8ft raised lounge-spa to let the bubbles sooth away any stresses of everyday life. All doors leading on to the deck area have been provided with additional safety locks.

    Wanting more? You can enjoy our game room with an Air Hockey and ping-pong table to play as a family. You also have complimentary access to the Windsor Palms clubhouse which includes an Olympic-sized pool with splash center for kids, fitness area, free 58-seat cinema, arcade room, BBQ areas and more.

    The sleeping accommodation at 'The Hidden Mickey' includes 3 master bedrooms (2 private suites with en-suite bathrooms). Each master bedroom has a king-size bed with a "pillow-top" mattress and cable TV. There are 3 kids-themed bedrooms - each with 2 twin beds, dressers, and closet space, plus nearby bathrooms.

Appreciated the kitchen being fully stocked with everything we needed for cooking/eating. The hot tub was a great bonus, loved this option verses the “spa” offset from luke warm pool water. Kids absolutely loved the themed rooms.

We enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was nice and the pool was very comfortable. The community building was nice but they were having an event so hard to park there. We stayed here to do the 1/2 marathon weekend at Epcot. It was about a 15 minute drive to get there so very nice The kids rooms were adorable and the kids liked the beds that were princess and astronaut themed.

All in all it was a good stay. Themed rooms are super cute for kids and the over all space of the house is nice. Biggest disappointment was the pool being advertised as heated and it is very much NOT. Also the hot tub would not heat or run and was not able to be fixed while we were there. The heated pool and hot tub was a huge reason we booked and was tough on the kids not to be able to swim at all. Other pain was ZERO extra toilet paper or trash bags … not fun to run out of toilet paper at 11pm after a long day at Disney and have to go out for more because there was no extra in the house.

The Hidden Mickey…Magical!

Great open space for entertaining and relaxing. Plenty of comfortable and cute bedrooms for all guests. Hosts are delightful to help with questions or unexpected wrinkles. Super location for a quick drive to the store or Disney parks. The clubhouse and pool area are wonderful.

The home has the cutest beds for kids going to Disney! My grandkids loved it! Nice pool and hot tub with covered patio that helped us enjoy even when it was raining. I would go again especially if appliances were updated.

We loved this property for our family trip to Disney World. It was clean, had all of the amenities we needed, and was in a safe, gated community. There were some minor upkeep things with the house- the door handle falls off the shower in the master bathroom, shower curtains were torn, the pool area and furniture were clearly well-loved. However it met our needs for everything for our trip! The bedrooms for the kids were fantastic and they loved exploring them together. An excellent stay!

Our stay at the hidden Mickey was fabulous. We had everything we needed. Everything was clean, and we had all we needed with a short drive to Walmart for groceries. Close to fantastic restaurants and a busy strip of shops and everything you need. Our children loved the themed rooms and of course the pool and spa for in between days at the parks. The owners were kind but we truly didn’t need them because the house was great! Great trip, thanks again!

Great home away from home for Christmas

We had a wonderful stay! We were a group of 9 with 5 adults and 4 kids. We spent most of our time at the theme parks, which this house was close to and an easy drive back to each night. Our kids loved the themed rooms and it added some extra magic to our trip. The pool was nice and check in and check out process were easy and convenient. Trash was picked up daily which was a nice benefit to not have to remember certain days to take it out. We enjoyed our two week stay and would definitely recommend this home to other families!

Very nice home in a very nice neighborhood. It felt very safe. Awesome to have use of the clubhouse as well. Close drive to parks, especially animal kingdom. Themed kid rooms were awesome. The pool was nice and well kept. Owners were very quick to respond. Beds were comfy. Couch was also. No tvs in the kids rooms but that made us all watch tv together. Everything you could need in the kitchen. We enjoyed our time here very much.

Stay was great however, some things need to be fixed or updated. Window by pool doesn’t lock, front door deadbolt doesn’t lock, bugs in showers and bathtub. Hard time getting shower to work upstairs. Overall owners were helpful with TV although we had to keep plugging it in and out several times to watch tv. Great location and close to everything.
