Excellent Stay!

Very happy, the house was clean, pool was excellent. I was very happy that it was all tile and wood floors - no carpet so the floors were all very clean. Everything was nice and in working order, plenty of space for 15 of us. The house is also next to the management land, so no houses directly behind us. We saw Sandhill cranes, ducks and turkeys while swimming. Hot tub was simple and easy to use- and warm. Definitely would rent this home again.

Eighth golf stay at this great home!

We just got back from an annual golf trip with eight guys. We always stay at the same house because everyone gets their own bedroom. As always, we were pleased with the house and will be booking next year soon. It is a great location. I have communicated over the years with the owner from time to time, And he has always very responsive and helpful. Looking forward to further trips and stays at this home.Emmett L.

Worth it for the price

The house is huge and easily fit our whole group. We had 18 people, plenty of beds for everyone, and the space was big and comfortable. It could’ve been cleaner but it wasn’t dirty. Nothing that I felt was too unsanitary. Check in was easy and for the price we paid I think it was absolutely worth it.

The overall stay was pretty good. House very spacious just wish it was a little cleaner considering when we arrived the cleaning people were still cleaning. Needs a little updating but it was overall what was said in the ad. We as a family enjoyed our stay!

Golf trip stay

Overall this home met our needs for an 8 guy golf trip. Home is a bit dated (furniture, cupboards etc) but wasn’t a deal breaker. There was a list of things that needed maintenance or updating that I let the host know about. He acknowledged it and said he would advise the property manager. Pool and hot tub were great. Our host was very good at responding.

Great Stay for Large Groups

In 20 years of traveling to Orlando during the holidays, this was the first time that a home (that we could afford) easily accommodated our large family. Everyone had a room/bed and we were able to spread out and enjoy each other’s company. It felt like we were “at grandmas.” Dated furniture, linens, worn mattresses and more but still comfortable and clean. Very close to Disney and other attractions, restaurants and shopping. We would definitely stay here again.

Son's Superhero Adventure Weekend

It was 15 of us in the home and we had more than enough space for rooming arrangements. I will say the house has a lot of wear and tear but overall a comfortable stay. Loved the pool and paid for it to be warm which was a plus.

8 of us stayed here for a Disney vacation. The location was perfect. It was literally minutes to the parks. Check in could not have been easier! Nice big house - lots of room. Disappointed in the cleanliness of the house- it really needs a deep clean and updating - would not label it a luxury villa. Great communication- very fast replies. Nice resort area.

Another great stay for our annual golf trip!

This is probably the eighth year in a row that we have stayed in this home for our annual golf trip. We used to stay in separate condos, but this beautiful home has eight bedrooms – one for each of us. It is always fine, and clean. I interact with the owner occasionally as well as the property manager over the years and every time it has been a good experience. To further support my review, we are already looking to rebook for our next golf trip. Thank you very much for another great year!

Great house for a large group

While the house is getting quite "tired" we were able to enjoy it for a week long stay with 8 golfing buddies. Ample space to do everything. Well stocked kitchen with dishes, cutlery, knives, and plenty of pots. Fantastic pool and hot tub/spa, that was much warmer than expected, but certainly enjoyed. They probably should address some of the deteriorating items, such as the large sections of silicone sealing coming out in the kitchen sink, the flaky front door lock, and at least 1 bed that could use a new mattress. But overall, none of this was worth worrying about while we were there, and we all enjoyed our stay. Communications with the owner/manager were excellent. We will consider staying at this house again in the future.

Filthy

Everything started great..we asked for an early check in and they accommodated us. We thought things were off to a great start until we walked in the house. The door was already unlocked when we arrived. The house was FILTHY. Floors dirty, cabinets covered in food, bathroom door covered in who knows what, bugs crawling on the floors and in bathtubs (i know its florida..bugs are common) I informed the manager of our concerns and she sent someone over to clean the house again...while we were already there. She sent someone the next morning for the ants crawling everywhere. The house needed more than someone to come clean the surfaces. This house needs a DEEP CLEAN. Dust in the vents, under all beds, windowsills had dust and dead bugs. It was just filthy everywhere. The sheets were disgustingly stained. The pool area had broken chairs. After a few days our swim suits started to smell AWFUL from the pool. Dishwasher wouldn't get dishes clean, so we hand washed all dishes for 12 people. Overall, it was not a great experience and I would not recommend this house to anyone.

20 hour drive Disney getaway

This our 4th time going to Disney from South Texas. A 21 mile drive and our second time staying at emerald Island resort . This was far better then the last times. The house was very comfortable and spacious. It might had been better with more pans but we managed with what we had. And Walmart is also only 9 minutes away. We enjoyed cooking breakfast every morning before leaving to Disney. Our family was a group of 19. Each one of our daughters and there husbands had there own room. With rooms left over for the grandkids. The pool was a big hit with the kids for the evenings. The adults enjoyed bike riding around the resort, then a quick stop at the tiki bar for a mix drink from inez, (the bartender) she makes great strawberry daiquiri with whip topping. Didn't get to enjoy the miniature golf since it was late. But did got to use the large pool at the club house. We got to take the kids to the near by playground 3 blocks away. It was a picture perfect vacation. The house the resort and of course Disney. If there is anything to complain about it would be that the restroom doors didn't lock even in the lock position,only the master suite locked. But over all we have no complaints about the house. Look forward to going again for our next vacation. And hopefully get to play the miniature golf .lol

The property is great if you just need a place to put your stuff and sleep.Shouldn’t been label as luxury, nothing about the property is luxurious at all. Host super nice great communication during the process before checking in. House needs some major cleaning my poor infant, my sibling and myself super sick since we got dust allergies. Move crib and dust everywhere and around the house, furniture around the house falling apart or fixed in an unsafe way.

Pro and Contras

The house was clean and had all the necessary kitchen equipment. The space is a little smaller than the photos, but it's still very comfortable for a large group. The beds were comfortable for us. However, the house needs more care and attention. The owner is very responsive to any need. Cable and Wi-Fi are no problem. Pool ideal.

The house was terribly unclean, I mean downright filthy. It needs a serious deep clean. And the sheets and towels aren’t washed with soap only water. So it’s really gross. There were kitchen cabinet knobs that fell off if we pulled on them. The dishwasher more like rinsed off the dishes, they were alway dirty when we pulled them out. We asked if they would refund 50% and they agreed, only the 50% they offered was more like 33% of what I paid. The only thing about this place that was good is the fact that they had decent toilet paper. Save yourselves some grief and get a better house for the same money or less.
