Resting point became the destination!
Cannot say enough great things about this listing. Very private backyard with a wonderful view of lake silver. I loved watching the sunsets from the plentiful lounge furniture or floating in the pool. The 4 person table out on the patio was perfect for every meal, I couldn't stay away from that view! Indoors was spacious, found thehotplate under the sink only has one burner that functioned full time, but we were not affected. The first day the A/C tripped, we found a fan so we were not going to bother, but the host had already noticed the google nest status and sent a friend to fix it without us asking! great host, great property, will be back:)

A Perfect Piece of Paradise
I had such a marvelous time at the Artist's Studio! It was quiet and clean. The landscaping around the pretty pool was serene and beautiful with mature trees and flowers. I saw river otters in the lake, and many different types of birds. I liked the keyless entry so I never had to worry about misplacing a key. This will be my "go to" place the next time I am in Orlando.

BEST AND KINDEST OWNERS!
Not only is this apartment adorable, clean, loaded with amenities and just absolutely perfect - the owners are unbelievable. Have you ever been stranded because of a hurricane? No? Well I hope you never are but if tragedy befalls you, I hope you are blessed with people like Joan that will make it ALL OK. Her retreat is perfect and she and her family are wonderful people.

We loved the location and neighborhood of this property as well as the layout and amenities of the studio apartment. The patio and lakefront scenery was gorgeous. Only complaints are that the inside had fruit flies that were annoying and outside the pool was full of debris and didn’t seem well cleaned.

Thanks for staying with us and I do extend my apologies about the pool. We had tropical storm wind/rains prior to your visit and it takes a bit of time to get the pool back in shape. As for the flies....I've never seen or heard of this happening but will certainly look into remedying that!

Peaceful
Our stay was easy and peaceful. Joan was great about responding quickly when we had questions or needed something. Natural pool was nice and view from back patio very peaceful! If you're a light sleeper you may want to choose the other room she has available. The downstairs is below the owners living area and easy to hear footsteps. (not a complaint, just FYI) We would stay here again.

Nice place but in need of some improvements
There was no phone contact information for when the nest alarm system went off at 8:45 am saying there was smoke on another floor. The motion activated light on the nest made us uncomfortable. It’s a beautiful neighborhood with restaurants within walking distance. There were no hand towels or dish towels and only 2 wash cloths.

Lovely small apartment in a gorgeous lake home. Private & adorned with colorful artwork. College Park location is super-convenient, yet peaceful with walk-out access to water and garden. Highly recommended!

Our Stay
The property was exactly as advertised. It is nicely decorated with paintings etc. However the kitchen/dining area is tiny. Reheating takeout food was challenging due to the very small toaster oven and the lack of counter space. There was a small microwave. The dining chairs are tight to the walls on either side making it difficult for 2 people to sit. We had to remove an upright vacuum cleaner from the closet in the kitchen to hang our clothes. The bathroom was a good size. All the indoor areas were clean. The covered outdoor area was not clean and we had to scrub the table and put towels over the cushions before we could use it. The adirondack chairs by the lake also needing scrubbing. The yard has beautiful landscaping and the lake view is also beautiful but the pool looked neglected. It was a brown color and had a lot of plant debris floating in it. We were allowed to check in over half an hour early which we appreciated. It is a very quiet and pleasant location.

Very impressed with this beautiful, clean, & comfortable space!
We thoroughly enjoyed our little get away in college park! What a peaceful, quiet location on the lake. We spent our evenings sitting lakeside admiring the view. All amenities were as described and we appreciated the privacy and clean and comfortable accommodations! College Park is the perfect place for a weekend getaway with restaurants and shops all in a very walkable neighborhood.

An amazing place! Quiet and clean with brushstrokes of creativity from both human hands and nature. The Artist Studio exceeded all expectations for comfort and peace. There is also plenty of privacy to enjoy the abundance of this space, located in a warm and friendly neighborhood. Check-in and check-out are effortless, and the Owner is very attentive to accommodate any additional needs. The Artist Studio is a gem for travelers that want to rest and absorb the hospitality of a friend's home.

Great escape and perfect weekend
Joan was very accommodating for my weekend stay. The space was clean and large enough for two people, the lakeside view was beautiful and peaceful. The location was safe, nestled in such a quaint neighborhood. We could easily walk to restaurants and surrounds neighborhoods were a 10-15 minute drive. I would definitely come back to stay again.

Quiet studio apartment in a beautiful neighborhood
Private, quiet studio attached to larger home. Only changes I would suggest are to add an extra blanket or two and a floor lamp. Nice walk to area restaurants. Beautiful lake view.

Relaxing Stay
A great location and beautiful patio area to relax and view the lake. Easy access on arrival and all amenities provided as listed. Perfect stay and a fabulous quiet environment for a good night sleep. Host was so friendly and helpful in providing recommendations to visit in the area. I'd definitely stay again!

Beautiful location, close to almost everything
Just as listed. She had everything we could have needed to cook a meal if we had wanted to. Loved the privacy. Only downfalls were that we could hear some renovation noises (nothing too bothersome and never at night) and the neighbor's playing music (not her fault at all). Also, the the pillows were feather pillows, but that's just me being picky.

Peaceful and private
Property was spotless and check-in instructions were clear. The apartment itself was cozy and full of natural light. I believe owners were unavailable or out of town, whomever was left to watch the property was out of sight so we had a great deal of privacy. The rental is very close walking distance to a wonderful spa and many great restaurants. Only detraction was the pool vacuum being left in the pool the entire trip, and that is a minor issue indeed. Would definitely book again.

Very good attractive setting. Delivered as advertised. Didn’t visit to watch tv, but would have been a nice addition. Also a more comfortable couch or easy chair would be better. Still give a 5 star rating for the total experience. Yes I would recommend.

The apartment was really clean. Furnishings, linens and decor were all quite fresh. The location on the quiet lake is unique and was a pleasure to look out upon each morning. The convenience of being close to downtown Orlando and Winter Park was what drew us to this unit. I highly recommend the apartment to any couple or anyone traveling alone who want to stay in Orlando, but avoid the crazy tourist scene.

Perfect!
This was an awesome property to stay in. The property is as it is described. Although the property is attached to a large home, you would never know it. You have access to a beautiful lake along with the patio furniture which made it easy to partake in the scenery. Additionally, the owners thought of everything that a person would need while guests are visiting. This truly was a home away from home and my husband and I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed.
We enjoyed our stay. We were gone all day during our stay so we really only took advantage of the comforts of the room itself. The bed was very comfy. The nice large bathroom was spacious and bright with natural light. We enjoyed the view of the lake but were away all day and didn’t have a chance to use the lovely patio and outdoor spaces. Beautiful and quiet location in Orlando.

Beautiful location, nice studio, could use some TLC
This studio is very welcoming and nicely decorated. The owner was quick to respond to text inquiries, such as the Keurig coffee maker was not working. She contacted her daughter who quickly brought their personal keurig to replace. Also, there is no tv, so hubby wanted to connect his laptop to watch a college bowl game and he had issues with the WiFi. Again, the owner responded quickly to a text and we were given the access code to their WiFi. Others reviewed on how comfortable the bed was. We found it to be too soft for a good nights rest. This is personal preference. The owner provided a list of some great restaurants within walking distance and we tried several of them - all wonderful! (Shakers, Armandos & RusTeak) Thank you, Ms Coye!

Perfect location, beautiful view of the lake
My husband I stayed here while attending a college basketball tournament near Disney at ESPN Wild World of Sports. We were less than 30 minutes away. The apartment is on the lake with a lovely spot to sit by the lake. It met our needs and more. It was cleverly decorated, neat, and clean and had everything we needed for a four-night stay. The owner, Joan, was responsive and helpful. The lock was a little tricky to figure out when leaving. I finally really locked the door the last day. : ) I walked in the neighborhood every morning for several miles. There is park just a few blocks away also. It is a beautiful neighborhood to enjoy being outdoors. Safety is not an issue at all. We would definitely consider returning if coming to Orlando again. Centrally located. We also went to one shop and one restaurant on N. Orange which is just across I-4. The White Wolf Cafe was fun and delightful for brunch on Sunday morning. We also dined at Coming Home at Disney Springs which was great on Thanksgiving Day. Also, recommend Paradise 37 at Disney Springs. Both places the food was fresh, interesting, and very good.

Quiet and private bit of heaven overlooking lake near Orlando

Absolutely amazing stay
From the very beginning the property owners were very accommodating. Giving very detailed instructions upon everything along with even going as far as recommending nearby restaurants. We did not get to meet them personally, but we met what we assume is their children. They were very friendly and helpful during our stay. The room was cute and clean. In addition, even though it was small, it had everything we needed and the bed was super comfy! During our whole stay, our favorite part was the pool. If you stay here, swimming in the pool is a must. It is absolutely beautiful. The location is perfect because it is close to all the attractions, but out of all the congestion. I highly recommend staying here!

Could be a great stay.
Remember first impressions are important, so the landscaping disarray and mouldy outdoor cushions were not welcoming. Inside was ok but no tv and bathroom floor was sandy. Steve saved the day and was very helpful. Jan and Ruth Cort

I appreciate your input and have replaced the outdoor cushions. Your request to have fresh towels every other day, have someone take out your trash, and your dissatisfaction with the shape of the coffee cups were all responded to and immediately remedied. I am truly sad that we did not meet your high standards. I hope you have better experiences at future accommodations.
