The stay was perfect. The house was clean, spacious, and quiet. Since we were there for the 4th of July, we also got to see amazing fireworks in all directions. We were close enough to the parks and in a really beautiful area with awesome places to explore. We had to cancel and ended up staying with family nearby, in the middle of the night. The host made it seem like it wasn’t a big deal, but after sitting on the phone with customer service for an hour, I was able to get a partial refund. Due to my concerns for my family’s safety, I blocked the access door to the second unit with a large china cabinet following a brief interaction with a man at our front door who only identified himself as “Electrician”. Though the owner apologized for the mixup, the fact that we were unaware that the property had direct access to a separate unit was really disappointing - the listing description actually claims “ENTIRE HOME” will be rented out, hence I feel that we were mislead.- The floors throughout were EXTREMELY filthy, so much so that my entire family wore shoes throughout our entire stay.- There was dust everywhere.- I personally had to scrub the shower floor after noticing tightly curled black hairs prior to us using it. Shower curtain is stained and should be replaced. - Home is a fixer upper that has not been fixed - if you don’t mind shoddy paint lines, wood trim and kitchen cabinetry from the 1900s, this is the perfect rental for you. - Backyard is shared with second unit, not private. ##### Carla G.
