Perfect location

We chose this property because it was located between the two major theme parks. Everything about it was just what we wanted, easy to get to, clean, comfortable and safe. If we hadn't been at amusement parks all day, it would have been a great place to relax and enjoy the amenities.

THE ONE FINALS

Being able to stay close to the Orange County Convention Center was a bus in our situation considering we were there multiple days for the one cheer finals. We really enjoyed all the amenities that the resort had to offer we really like the screen porch in the back to be able to sit out in the evenings. The kids enjoy the pools as well as this movie that were made at one of the pool bars. It was unfortunate to see that not all of the pools had their pool bars open but I do believe this was just because of Staffing. The rooms and the beds were extremely comfortable and fit all eight of us perfectly. I wish there were a few more handicap parking spaces out front it was kind of hard to find parking in the evening and we had someone handicap with us but other than that everything else I was very pleasant.

Happy to have been in the warm environment but returning with a sore back.

My wife and I stayed in the bedroom with two double beds and I have to say I never slept in bed that was more uncomfortable than those two. For that reason alone I don’t believe I would ever stay at this property again. Everything else seemed pretty good and worked okay. Except one of the ceiling lights in the same bedroom was missing a bulb, which made it pretty dim since there was only one other bulb.

It was…okay…

This property at the Westgate Lakes Resort in Orlando could be best characterized as “fine”. The master suite was comfortable with a king size bed, massive whirlpool tub, and a large shower. The second bedroom included two full beds and it’s own bathroom with large shower. All beds were clean and comfortable with adequate bedding and extra blankets/sheets if needed. However, the secondary bedroom was not at all as pictured in this listing. The remaining spaces (living room and kitchen) were serviceable but it was evident the appliances, cookware, and couches were original to this property and could use a refresh in the immediate future. I would’ve liked to have had a more robust assortment of kitchen goods (namely a cookie sheet and pizza wheel since we had pizza one evening) and I don’t feel like the dishwasher got a lot of dishes “clean”. My trip centered around multiple days at Universal Studios with family so we didn’t spend a ton of time at the resort in the room. That being the case, I would categorize the property as “fine”. I would advise future guests to read the fine print of the listing and any info from Westgate regarding wi-fi access fees, on-site water park access fees, etc. While those oversights were on my part, it was still an annoyance to discover additional fees and charges for amenities that are typically included with a rental. I enjoyed my trip but I will not be staying at this resort again.
