Horrible pool conditions and incorrect key pad number given and air was not working.

First we get there and thankfully the cleaning people were there as the number u sent us did not work, so we had to contact someone to get new number. Second pool had worms in pool and was low and when asked to turn heat on you told us someone needs to work on it, all someone did was fill it and clean the worms out. Heater never worked, but was contacted that someone came to look at heat but they didn’t!! Then air would not cool house ever!!! It was so hot in house. I am asking for one night refund!!!

Less than standard stay

Checked in on a Thursday to find no bath cloths in the home. The lack of attention to this matter was very disappointing. We frequently stay at Champions Gate throughout the year and have never encountered this level of discomfort. One of the sinks and showers in the bathroom was clogged. The tv did not work in one of the bedrooms (was repaired the night prior to checkout), several roaches were spotted in the kitchen, the oven door had a huge hole in it, the selection of pots and pans was slim. Upon arrival one of the upstairs bedrooms comforters had food stuck to it, definitely had not been washed. No hand towels, wash cloths, very inconsiderate. After a long day and traveling to arrive at a vacation home to have to concern yourself with towels, ridiculous. The answering service informed me that my request was not deemed an emergency and recommended that we go out and buy towels...

Great potential but needs lots of maintenance

It’s obvious that the owners of this property invested in the furnishings of this property but the lack of maintenance is evident from the moment you walk through the house. From broken fixtures in kitchen and bathrooms to broken kitchen cabinets, broken furniture, visibly torn leather in the family room couch, pool table sticks broken and the list goes on. Unfortunately upon arrival the pool was very dirty and one of my guests sliced their foot on Glass inside the hot tub. The property was cleaned as I arrived as the cleaning lady was finishing but her attention to detail was obvious. We found loose garbage items in the garbage can underneath the trash bag, Cheetos on the couch, hair in the sink, the floor and surfaces were sticky. Definitely bring your pillows because this house doesn’t have any. Each room has either two throw pillows or two sham pillows. It’s a shame because this house has a great configuration and lots of space but for the price I would expect the house to be well maintained. If maintained this house would definitely be 5 stars but in its current condition I can only give it 3 stars.

My Stay Experience l

When I check-in I did a tour of the house for any damages prior. 1 pool stick was broke, definitely need to upgrade downstairs couches, couple of the vertical blinds kept falling when opening. 1 bedroom window blind didn’t closed. It remain open during our stay but was able to closed curtain to prevent anybody from looking in. Couple of marks and scratches on wall but I guess that’s normal wear and tear. Oh and one more thing, we found a couple of roaches in house..1 dead roach in my son room. Living room tv remote wasn’t working. So i don’t know if it needed batteries or broke. House was clean. Pool area amazing. Easy access to local grocery stores. Easy access to the major highways. Had to do a service call for downstairs A/C and the respond time was awesome..less than 2 hours. Other than that, I enjoyed the house and the kids also. Only thing I would recommend is get the pool heated. It was hot during the day but at night the pool water was cold. Yes, I would stay here again and I would recommend this property.

Insect bites

House looked nice and clean but one of my guest (my son) was bite up in the upstairs bedroom and on our final day there i got a chance to experience it. I submitted pictures. No courtesy monetary refund or 1 night stay.

double check what to bring

Just remember it's Covid time so there is basically nothing in the kitchen except dishes, glasses, pots and pans and silverware. Bath & pool towels only - no kitchen towels or hand towels or washcloths. The management was always willing to help correct any other problems

The house has horrible beds and there was garbage around the house that had a horrible smell I contacted the management and the said a few times that someone will come clean it & no one came

Perfect choice!

Everything was exactly how we imagined & hoped they would be! House was nice & roomy! Kids enjoyed the awesome pool out back, neighbors seemed friendly as well as everyone at front gate. It was just a perfect match for us!! We had babies 2/3 years old 18/20 year olds & adults over 21 & we all enjoyed our stay at the home!! Recommend for sure

Sad

While the property was spacious, the rental contract was so long in which I had to promise not to do all these things. Simple things like don’t ruin the house, throw parties, leave it disgusting. So I assumed I’d be walking into what I was signing a document promising to do. Wrong. Upon arrival a HUGE pile of trash including clothes, blankets, boxes, and black trash bags was piled up on the front lawn. So much so that we couldn’t fit both our cars in the driveway without getting out of a car and literally stepping on a pile of trash. Moving on. We paid a lot of money to stay here. After we stepped out over the pile of trash, I was welcomed by obscenely loud music and people shouting “chug chug chug!!” That went on for several hours and hey, I’m here for a good time too but I didn’t rent a hotel for a reason. Our alarm system wouldn’t stop going off in the house even though I called management THREE times. I had to go to Walgreens and purchase box fans for all the rooms and shove towels around the alarm box to TRY to muffle the beeping so we could sleep. Did they fix it all weekend? Nope. Still going off when we left. Bring your own, well everything; including towels and pillows. All of the towels had a fairly bad odor. 100% did not smell clean and fresh. To be fair, I’ve stayed in MANY homes through VRBO and this was my first truly “thumbs down” house. The house was well decorated but the walls all had scrapes on them and the coffee table might be less than 25 minutes from full collapse. We just didn’t touch it for fear of it breaking and us being charged. The property management was less than stellar. The house fits lots of people, and the pool and hot tub were nice so long as you don’t mind listening to club music and people screaming late into the night. For the money, I’d rent elsewhere.

Nice property poor, really poor management company

The house is a nice house but it is poorly managed. Early checkin was agreed upon but not implemented so I had to call the office, wait on the line for 35 min and ended up driving to the office. Full propane tank was agreed but a semi used was at the house and the grill and grilling area were sticky from not being cleaned in ages. Pool heating was supposed to be turned on the day before to allow the pool to heat up but it was set at a temperature that was not hot enough. I requested to communicate directly with the owner to convey my concerns but was declined by the management company. I hope the owner reads this review because he’s not getting his money worth.

Ein Traum in Florida

Wir kamen am späten Abend beim Verwaltungsbüro an. Büro war geschlossen. Wie vorgängig mitgeteilt lagen die Infos für das Haus inkl. Türcode und Lage im Safe bereit. Super Organisation. Das Haus ist neu. Dies stellt man fest, wenn man die Ausstattung betrachtet und die Einrichtung. Es fehlt an nichts. Auch die gesamte Anlage ist neu uns sehr sauber. Villa liegt in einer riesigen, bewachten Anlage. Zufahrt nur mit Berechtigung möglich. Aufgrund der Grösse der Anlage ist ein Auto für Einkäufe etc. zwingend notwendig. Wir hatten 2 oder 3 Mängel welche während unserem Aufenthalt aufgetreten sind oder vorher schon waren. Nach einer Meldung an die Verwaltung / Vermietung waren alle Mängel innerhalb von 24 Stunden repariert, inkl. einer defekten Klimaanlage. Wir nutzten das Haus mit 4 Personen. Genügend Platz für alle. Die Zimmer und auch die meisten Badezimmer sind gross und bieten genügend Platz auch wenn das Haus mit mehr Personen besetzt ist. Wir haben uns vorgängig für die Whirlpoolheizung entschieden. Dieses aufgewärmte Wasser "heizt" anschliessend den Pool. So kann die gewünschte Wassertemperatur gut reguliert werden. Lage Nähe Orlando perfekt für Ausflüge. Vieles "Bekannte" ist in maximal 1 1/2 h Fahrt erreichbar. Am Abend kann dann beim Baden im eigenen Pool entspannt werden.

Superb family villa

Arriving late in the evening is not always the best time to appreciate your holiday villa, but this one was an exception. From the moment we walked (or maybe crawled) in, it was obvious that this was going to be a superb base for the next two weeks. There was plenty of space for the seven of us in our party and the six bathrooms were incredibly useful when everyone wanted to shower at the same time! The kitchen was clean and well appointed although the cooking utensils were sadly depleted with just one medium and one small saucepan which was vitually useless because of its uneven base.On contacting the management company, when we had finally decided that eating in would be an option, another medium sized pan was delivered the same day. A kettle for the hob would have been a worthwhile addition too. Another small niggle would be that the bin with automatic opening at the press of a button was lacking its batteries so had to be opened by hand- what a chore- we were on holiday after all!! The pool was always clean and very welcoming after a busy day Disneying! The location was great for accessing theme parks and the Oasis Club- almost on the doorstep- lived up to its name. We were initially a little disappointed that our booking was not completed by Home Away where we had selected it, and the management company was not the best we have dealt with in terms of sending acknowledgements of payment and check in procedures.However, we were grateful that for an additional charge of 65 dollars we could stay until two o'clock and avoid the hanging about before departure. All in all we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at this villa and would not hesitate to recommend it.
