Just outside the camp property is a public beach area on Craig Pond that guests are welcome to enjoy during their stay.
Within walking distance is the historic Craig Brook National Fish Hatchery, one of the oldest fish hatcheries in the country. The hatchery features a small museum and visitor areas that are open during the day, offering a unique look into Maine’s Atlantic salmon conservation efforts.

At this time, the main lodge, dining hall, kitchen facilities, maintenance areas, storage buildings, and certain other structures on the property may be off-limits to guests for safety and privacy reasons.
However, as renovation projects are completed, additional guest spaces may become available during your stay or prior to your arrival. Areas such as the dining hall, lodge, gathering spaces, or other shared amenities may be opened for guest use as they are restored and prepared for occupancy.
We ask that guests respect all marked private or restricted areas during their visit. The guest areas have been intentionally selected to provide privacy, waterfront access, and a peaceful wilderness experience while restoration efforts continue elsewhere on the property.
Guests are still welcome to enjoy the surrounding natural areas, nearby public beach access, walking access to the Craig Brook National Fish Hatchery, and the many nearby lakes, trails, and conservation areas throughout the region.
