"We had a wonderful stay as a group of friends. We loved the farm feel and picking and snacking on sweet apples and walnuts. The pool was well used and host very helpful despite the language barrier. All in all a lovely stay!"

"Welcoming hosts, lovely gite, very clean. All relevant facilities in the kitchen and bathroom are available. It is a very quiet and peaceful area, perfect if you want to get away from it all. For those who can't live without their phone, there is WiFi, and three TVs! We loved the animals around, rabbits, free range turkeys, horse (not to be eaten!). The hosts are very friendly. "We had a wonderful stay at the cottage in Chaises Basses. It’s a beautiful, old and rustic farmhouse that was lovingly restored, with many original features including a very large fireplace. It’s a perfect place if you are looking to hide away somewhere for a little while. It is located in Corrèze, in a very quiet area, but you are not too far from other busier areas like Dordogne. "Greeting from Karen & Richard was so nice. A lovely couple who presented the property so very well. The gardens were immaculate and brilliant for the kids and our dog. We had a fantastic relaxing week. Visiting a few beautiful chateau’s. Great location just a few miles from the motorway, in the fantastic French country side. So access to the surrounding towns and villages are easy."

"We had a great stay at the villa this August. The villa is very clean and has all the amenities that you could require. Our children loved the pool which was heated and undercover so we did not have to worry about them getting sunburnt. Plenty to do in the surrounding areas. A highlight was the ability to order bread and pastries each morning to be delivered to the villa. Although there was a slight language barrier with the hosts, they were always quick to reply to us and were very nice helpful...

"We can’t rate the property highly enough - spacious open plan living, comfortable bedrooms, hot water, and lots of outside space. Karine and Olivier were attentive, friendly hosts, patient with our terrible language skills and made every effort to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The village was an easy five minute walk, even with reluctant toddlers, with a fantastic bakery, restaurants and a beautiful paddling spot. So many great day trips possible from this location. Wonderful."

"The house was very nice and cozy and perfect for my needs. It was a little hard to find when I arrived late at night but other than that, access was easy. It was advertised as having a hot tub, which was not accurate and was a little disappointing having looked forward to that, but overall, that wasn't a huge issue. I was there primarily for business and the wi fi was good so all in all, I was pleased with the stay"
