From what I gather, this is a newer hotel. It was very nice, located on golf course with a view if the bay. It is a little out of the way but well worth it. Spa was wonderful. complimentary breakfast and water, juice, milk in the room.

This hotel has been one of the best stay ever in any hotels around the world and I have been traveling around the world a lot. Exceptional details, the beauty, decorations, staff, best restaurants and bars. Everything was exceptional. Location is so convenient to travel to both south and north of Galway. Simply the best.

This was a brand new property. It was fantastic with a great view of the golf course in the Atlantic Ocean. I had a massage at the spa with Patricia and it was the best Massage ever. Great hotel and customer service.

The Hawthorn is a destination hotel, gorgeous decor, fantastic staff, super location, drop your bags, breathe and relax. Plenty to do on the grounds with a gorgeous golf course and fantastic walks, or indulge in the spa. Sure sign of a great hotel is when you don’t want to leave and I didn’t!

I travel a lot for work and have never left a review for a hotel before. However, I feel compelled to highlight the incredible hospitality I experienced at the Hawthorne. Beautiful property with lot of options for dining and entertainment. The staff was exceptional. They go way out of their way to ensure you feel comfortable and that your needs are met. They fully exceeded my expectations, and I look forward to returning next time I’m in the area.

We were celebrating our 25 year wedding anniversary and we couldn’t have picked a more fabulous place to celebrate it. From the moment we were welcomed by Shauna she made us feel so special. The rooms are luxurious spacious beautifully decorated and so comfortable The views are spectacular. A true testament to our beautiful west coast of Ireland countryside. The restaurants service and food quality was amazing. The spa staff and service was excellent. All the staff are outstanding. Aaron at the front desk was so attentive and helpful. We absolutely can’t wait to go back to this very special place.
