He was quick with service when needed and made my stay so enjoyable. He was helpful getting me acclimated to the island. I was there for a month and found the accommodations adequate for my needs. This studio is close to Renaissance Mall, Surfside Beach and the National Library. I used grocery delivery while I was there and the fridge kept my food cold and the kitchenette made easy meal prep for light meals. The air conditioning worked wonderfully. Overall, I enjoyed the location and the quiet, clean atmosphere. My only suggestion would be to add small shelving for unpacking my suitcase. As others had already stated, it needs an extra shelve and a luggage rack. However the location is great, we walked 5 to 10 minutes to a nice beach. 8 minutes to a grocery store (take your backpack to carry the stuff back) it is equipped for two (two plates, two forks, two glasses, etc), but the host is very amiable and attentive, he helped us checking in and provided other things that we needed (we needed an iron), he will provide if you ask. There is parking in the front for at least 5 cars. Taxis are expensive (US25) so think about renting a car. Aruba bus stops are also nearby so you can also ride the bus. I did not rate it 5 starts because of the shelves, but the mattress is fine, the bathroom also, shower has hot water. In general I am very satisfied and I will definitely rent this place again if I go back as it is very affordable. ##### Javier R. Myself and my husband were there for 6 days. If you’re looking for a bargain this is the place to be. It’s ver close to everything so there’s no need to stay somewhere expensive. The bed was very comfortable and the fact that you could open your bedroom door and be outside was a plus for us. If you have someone in a wheelchair like we do (our 24 year old son who has cerebral palsy) there a 6” step to enter the property and a 3to4” step get into the room. He has a light weight power wheelchair that would be easy to slightly tilt or lift to get into the room. The doorway to the room and bathroom should be fine to drive through also. All in all the place was amazing and so was the host. I got a chance to briefly meet him on a he was out. He contacted us to ask how things were going during our stay but we were to busy having fun lol ##### nakisha b. The only thing I could have used that wasn’t provided was a hair dryer. The price was very affordable. The photos and description are accurate and the location is convenient to downtown. Luty was friendly and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Stayed 3 nights in Dec 2019 ### 10/10 Excellent #### Larissa F. 23 Nov 2018 #### The studio is just like depicted, clean and comfortable, everything one needs after a day on a beach Aspid Apartments are very close to Surf Side beach (great snorkeling over sea weeds!), two very nice restaurants on the water and shopping. No matter how you like to spend your sea side vacation, you can easily get to tours, beautiful beaches with white sand and warm water, many international restaurants downtown Oranjestad and gardens full of flowers. The landlord is very helpful - if you need anything he is happy to assist any time of the day. Tap water in Aruba is of exceptional quality, and in the studio water pressure in the shower and the kitchen was excellent. Your linen will be changed a couple of times a week, and the studio will be cleaned up as well. There’s a TV in the studio, which i did not watch because I spent all my time beach hopping all over the island. But you can watch your shows as comfortably as you do at home. Air conditioning is working very well, it’s easy to set for your favorite temperature. Enjoy complimentary coffee or tea on your first morning before you head out to explore and soak in everything One Happy Island has to offer.
