"We had an excellent stay at Birch Haven! We loved the house; it was cozy, clean and there were thoughtful touches throughout. We felt at home instantly. And that porch! We spent hours birding and watching the tide change; we even saw seals! Jing-Huey was very responsive and helpful via text with any questions we had. The location is private and so peaceful, but also close to all the sights in the Lubec area. If you want unmatched peace and quiet, this is the place for you!"

"Beautiful lakeside home! Quite. Sunsets that are wonderful. Great location to explore the western coast of Maine. Campabello, Jasper Beach, several state parks and a lot of hiking opportunities. September visit so the water a bit cool to swim but beautiful to sit and enjoy. Just an awesome stay."

"The Prowhouse is an amazing property! It was very easy to communicate with Richard. Beforehand, he sent an tremendous amount of material on best ways to spend time in the area, sights to see, places to eat, things to do with kids, on rainy days, etc. The home had well organized binders of all of that information and more - making it so simple to see and do all that you wanted while staying in down east Maine. The home was comfortable and well equipped. It was more like staying with old friends than renting a home off VRBO. Many thanks to the whole Rose family - it was a pleasure to share in your slice of heaven."

"Property was clean and very easy to get to. Directions clear and precise. Cabin was exactly was described on the web site. Clean and well appointed. We enjoyed the gas fireplace on the chilly mornings. We would defintstsy here again if in the area."
