OK value to be within walking distance of Disney

Posted 28-Apr-2016
Pros: Close to Disneyland, price.
Cons: Make sure WiFi works, make sure microwave works.
For the price, you can't expect much from a motel. If you want to be within walking distance of Disneyland, have a fridge and microwave, and want to pay <$100/night, this is about the best you can hope for. Clean, secure, but old and some stuff broken.

Literally just a place to sleep and shower

Posted 22-Apr-2016
No frills, very basic. Nice that even though I checked in at 4am I still had a reservation. Sucks that they started working on the roof at 8am, so got very little sleep.

Pleasant surprise - bathroom needs some work

Posted 21-Apr-2016
Cons: Bathroom!
This turned out to be a nicer place than we were expecting. Very friendly staff. Clean room. Hardwood/laminate floors, microwave and fridge. Bathroom needs a little work. Toilet wobbled and show was lower than normal. Also, it was impossible to keep water off the floor. I don''t know if it needs a new shower curtain or what. Very nice breakfast area but could use a few more options. Most mornings were mini donuts or mini muffins, milk, toast, juice, coffee, cold cereal. I know that fresh fruit can be expensive but that would be a nice addition. Beds and pillows were fine. Better towels and wash cloths would have been nice; these were scratchy. Walking distance from Disneyland but just barely. Use the buses in the Toy Story parking lot if they are running as a short cut.

Trouble, in everything.

Posted 18-Apr-2016
I was in a room too close to the main road, very noisy but the inside of the room was just as noisy, the refrigerator made a loud humming noise all the time. I told the office 3 times about and the never fixed it. Also the vanity sink leaked and they had to come 2 times before it ever got fixed, microwave didnt work, had to complain 3 times before they replaced it. Continental breakfast was a joke. 2 types of donuts, 2 type of cereal and bread, more choices in drinks thou. Mattress was hard as a rock.

Noise

Posted 11-Apr-2016
Pros: Walking distance from Convention Center, Disney restaurants and even 24 hours gym.
Cons: Upgrading the windows can help with noise levels
Location: Walking distance from Convention Center, Disney restaurants and even 24 hours gym.
Paper thin walls, you hear the TV from the next door rooms, single glaze windows allow the street noise & all people walking to be heard inside the room. The blanket had stains on it!

Bait and switch ad running on Expedia

Posted 27-Mar-2016
Completely unhappy that I paid top dollar for a hotel that advertised a pool but did not have one when I showed up. Also, hotel ran my credit card that I reserved with before I got there & because it would not cover the whole bill, they cancelled my room. This was very annoying because I only used that card to reserve the room. I wasn't paying with that card & it should never have been run like that. It caused me great stress to be walking out my door to make the 12 hour drive to Disneyland only to get a message saying my room had been cancelled. Very disappointed that the billing was handled that way, especially because the option I chose on Expedia that was listed said "pay when you get to the hotel". The hotel NEVER had permission to run that credit card but did so anyway. Very unhappy with the entire stay. The staff did keep our room very tidy when cleaning each day which I greatly appreciated!!

Close to Disneyland

The beds were very uncomfortable like sleep on concrete. The room had a musty smell and the bathroom was so small you had to squeeze behind the door to close it.

Room smelled musty. The toilet was loose and made a big clanging sound each time someone sat on it or stood up, thus making middle of the night visits noisy.
