"During winter our room for 5 people was warm with the heating, cosy and clean. Each bedding had a clean bottom sheet. A pillow and pillow slip for each bed, that also included the double bed.
I would recommend the cabin for 5 people."

"Barbwire Bach has everything you need to enjoy its location with the added bonus of having access to their boxing gym. The kids absolutely loved it. Overlooking Opunake Lake and with the beach an enjoyable 3 minute walk away - or longer if the kids want to climb the pohutukawa trees and play on the playground, I have no hesitation in recommending Barbwire Bach and hope to stay again."

- Escape to a waterfront villa with direct access to a black sand beach and nearby fishing on Kaitake's serene bay.
"We stayed here at the end of our trip and it was the perfect place to relax, enjoy the beautiful scenery and listen to the sounds of the surf and birds. Seth, Nuala and David all made a point of stopping by to see how we were settling in and it was lovely to read the history behind the creation of the villas. Cannot recommend this place enough - would still be there if we could ☺️"
