At just two blocks from the beach you can hear the waves and see the lake from your front yard. Located steps from local restaurants and quaint shopping, this updated village home has it all. It’s a perfect place to explore the great outdoors without giving up any of the comfy amenities you expect. I cannot say enough about how lovely this home is. The hosts thought of every little thing to make our stay wonderful. It truly felt like staying at a favorite relative's home (minus that relative ;) ). We have stayed at many Vrbo's and rentals and this was by far our favorite. Everything thing we needed was at our fingertips (all the incidentals that you may need to bring with you or buy at other places were provided. The hosts even left us a note giving us permission to items on the property (bicycles, grill, wagon, whatever we might need to make our vacation awesome) . We walked to the beach, restaurants, stores whatever we needed it was all at our fingertips. We had little ones who were in love with the claw-foot tub (the "magical" bathtub). We loved all the games, books linens, beach umbrella, teas, coffees and incidentals provided. We went West one day to explore the waterfalls and East one day to Copper Harbor. There was plenty of seating in the dining and living rooms. All of the beds that we used were very comfortable. The house was very clean, and it was helpful to have access to a broom and vacuum so that we could get rid of the sand that we brought in. We didn't do any indoor cooking, but there are plenty of pots and pans, plates and glasses, etc. We did use the charcoal grill and picnic table a couple of times. Location was great for walking to the beach and checking out local eateries. Good central location to the Porkies and Adventure Mine. We didn't need to speak to the owners at all, but check-in instructions were very simple. ##### leah h.
