Top Onsan-eup Hotel Reviews

NewCZ Osiria Residence

10/10 Excellent

"Large condo style. View of the water between buildings. Everything is new and automated. Would stay here again in the Osiria Waterfront area. Lottery mall and lots of goodcrestaurants nothing walking distance. boardwalk and small clean beach 6 min walk."

Ananti At Busan Village

10/10 Excellent

"We were in Ananti Busan Village tower cabin #509 with a forest view & it was spectacular. Very spacious 2-level loft suite with separate bathroom & toilet. Lots of space to unload all your baggage. There's an iPad on the upper level but we could not figure out how to change the keyboard to English from Korean. We could have asked but we had our own laptop and iPad anyway so did not need to use it. Electronic drapes for the floor to ceiling windows. If you need it dark when you sleep, it gets completely dark. There's a light switch at the bedside to turn on for the stair railing light, should you need to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Loved the shampoo bar, conditioner bar, and body bar for showering! No plastic, no refilled plastic containers in the shower. Very eco-friendly! The shampoo bar lathered up well & the conditioner bar worked well too. The outdoor pool and hotspring-fed hot tubs were quite warm and perfect for the autumn temperatures. We ate at Cheese Bagel twice for breakfast and enjoyed the big selection of items. 15-minute walk (1.7kms) to the Haedong Yonggung Temple, which is a must-see. Close to transit bus to Haeundae Station, if you book a tour with Viator. Shuttle buses available for pick up from or to Busan Station that can be booked in advance but only until 4PM. Only 4 stars for service: the front desk was not entirely helpful when we asked about getting to the airport by airport limo bus. We eventually took a taxi for 32,500KRW."

UH Continental CenterPoint

10/10 Excellent

"I really enjoyed my stay, hotel is central, walkable distance to Blue line park and beach. The room is nice, spacious and even has a soaking tub and makeup table for me! They are however low on pillows. When I arrived my room only had 2 pillows. I asked for more and was told they were out and we should try again tmw. Tmw i has to put in more request. I never had a hard time getting pillows until I stayed at UH."

LOTTE CITY HOTEL ULSAN

10/10 Excellent

"All staff interactions were friendly, efficient, and helpful. The taxi driver who picked me up at 5AM for a tour and returned for me later was especially pleasant. However, I had a few challenges: The 7-Eleven staff was somewhat impatient with me as I tried to check out. The Cafe was booked out for lunch by a group and I couldn't eat there, it would have been nice to know ahead of time that I didn't have any options for lunch except leaving the hotel or going to 7-Eleven. The pillows were too soft and I couldn't get the front desk to understand a question regarding the availability of firmer pillows. My key card failed every other time I used it in the elevator. If someone was already there, it wouldn't recognize my floor, twice I had to walk up from the 10th floor. If someone else came in after me, the elevator would drop my floor and I would have to tap my card again or the other guest would so that I could register my floor. Just a suggestion, but grab bars in the shower would be useful especially for accessibility."

Busan Yeongmu Parade Hotel Haeundae Beach

8/10 Good

"Hard to find hotel as no name outside and looks like a just a coffee shop. Name is in small letters on the door. It was heavy rain for the 2 days we were there and no one was drying the floor so very slippy all the time. Staff not the friendliest. However once we got to our room (ocean premier double) it was huge with full kitchen sofa and washing machine. However nothing proved in the kitchen such as spoons for tea and coffee plates/ cutlery. Not sure why it had a stove as no pots or pans .bed was super comfortable. Saying all this had the best night's sleep in the bed! Would probably stay again."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Onsan-Eup?

The best area to stay in Onsan-Eup is near the main commercial areas along Donghaean-ro, particularly closer to the border with Ulsan.

This area offers the most convenience for travellers, with various dining options and local shops available. It's also well-connected for those needing to travel into Ulsan for business or further exploration, as Donghaean-ro is a primary thoroughfare. The general layout is more spread out than a typical city centre, but the amenities are clustered along this main road.

Business travellers will find this area particularly suitable due to its proximity to the industrial complexes and ease of access to Ulsan city centre. Hotels here often cater to this demographic, providing services like meeting rooms and good transport links.

For those on a leisure trip who value comfort and straightforward access to amenities, staying near the larger hotels along Donghaean-ro provides a good base.

When is the best time to go to Onsan-Eup?

The best time to visit Onsan-Eup is during the spring (April to May) and autumn (September to October) months, when the weather is most pleasant for exploring.

The park is known for its bamboo forest and walking trails. This season is particularly good for couples looking for scenic strolls and comfortable weather.

Autumn offers similarly agreeable weather with cooler temperatures and clear skies, superb for sightseeing and enjoying the natural beauty of the region.
