1. Front desk guy is terrible. He will argue with you every chance he can, and signed me up for something without my consent. There is no elevator only stairs, the bathroom is enough space for tub and toilet. The mirror and sink for bathroom was outside the bathroom. The bed was mediocre. And you have only a couple places to eat close by.

Our door did not fully close, and you could see daylight to the hallway half of the lock on the inside was broken, and I felt this was unsafe. Our toilet barely flushed, and the room smelled strongly of urine. There was black mold all over the tubs around along with screw holes. No wifi info in room. The staff was amazing

Solid, ordinary motel. Alas, the pool is out-of-service and apparently has been for a while. Sadly, the pool is the reason we picked this particular motel.

I was disappointed with our stay. Expedia shows a 7.4 rating. The door had a large gap with hall light and NOISE filtering through all hours. The fridge didn't work and had a warm beer sitting in it. The toilet did not flush. The staff was nice. I would NOT recommend this place.

Not the cleanest place I’ve stayed
I was driving from Basalt CO to Milwaukee WI and this was a little over halfway. Needed a comfortable bed to sleep and rest before getting back on the road. The clerk was very nice when checking in, but that was about the only positive. Both beds in the room looked as if the sheets hadn’t been changed and they were hastily made. I picked the one that looked a bit neater to sleep in and there were hairs in between the sheets (not mine). Thankful I brought my own pillow in, but I wasn’t able to fully relax wondering how dirty the bedsheets really were. I picked this hotel because it had a “good” rating as opposed to the lower rated hotels nearby. I’d hate to see what those beds look like!

2023 December Review
Check in was quick and painless. Found room to be clean overall, but there were some small areas (in corners, bathroom floor, mark on sheet) that prevents me from saying it was pristine. Bed is comfortable. On the softer side with 4 pillows per queen bed. Temperature control and room was comfortable upon arrival. There was a decent number of people staying for a Wednesday night, but didn't have any issues with disruptive/rude noise making neighbors. Breakfast had waffles, breakfast sandwiches (upon request), Activia yogurt, Milk, Cold Cereal, Oatmeal, Coffee, Tea, Danish, Bagels, Cream Cheese, Peanut Butter, Apples/Oranges, Sliced Bread for toast, Juice.

Location is VERY busy with truckers. Front desk guy at check in was rude. I stayed w/ my kids while visiting my husband at a local military base. He told me at least four times my husband couldn’t stay with me bc the room was for four not five. I reiterated each time that he was with me for the day, and had to report back to base in the evening. It was ridiculous. The elevator does not work. Although updated inside, it still feels run down. Bathroom not updated and VERY small. Windows in rooms are old and slide open. Upside, it was quiet and fairly clean. A lot of places in walking distance (mind you all the tractor trailers and busy parking lots).

Got the hotel room to swim and relax. Checked and pool was out of order. Went to take a shower and a big black hair ball was on the drain and the shower appeared very dirty. First we had a late checking. We sat it up to pay once we got there. They took money out of my accounts before we got there for the fist nights stay. Once we got there they would not let us get the key until we paid for the next nights stay. When we walked into the room it had a very dirty smell. The lights by the head of the bed kept flickering on and off and then they went completely out. The lamp by the window would not turn on. It was plugged in and we tried all the light switches. The coffee pot you had to unplug to get it to turn off. We tried cancel our room for the next morning and they said we could not. When we tried again later, they said that we should have done it earlier that day which we did and they say we could not. We checked out of the motel without staying the second night. The receptionist did not even ask about our stay or to find out why we would be leaving early. Their breakfast was nothing but a carb fest. I am a diabetic and need good forms of protein. The breakfast tables were all dirty. Last but not least, they advertised having a indoor swimming pool. Which was a big selling point for us since we have a 5 year old. Their pool was out of service. Had I known this, I would have stayed somewhere else so that my little girl could have enjoyed herself. It is hard to tell a kid they can’t do something after you have already promised them that they could. I feel like it was a huge rip off and I waisted my money.

Overall great experience!
The beds were so comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The price for the accommodations was great! It was a little muggy walking into the hotel room each time.

desk check in was efficient, convenient room right past lobby. Room smelled bad,, maybe lots of smoke then chemicals to cover it up ? Checked for bed bugs all clear. Back of room had large sliding window that was at ground level,, no lock.. small latch looked to have been pried off. Was in a hidden spot so no security whatsoever, would not leave anything in that room if I wasnt there. I put a couple empty beer cans on the track so if anyone opened it, they would fall on AC unit.. Toilette was made for midgets. TV guide didnt match chanels. "Free" breakfast was watered down coffee, stale bagles and some yogurt that probably came with the building... Woulda been ok if it was a $40 motel,, but it was a $100 one. Oh and ceilings paper thin and think I had a family of elephants above me training to river dance.
