Perfect Beach Cottage
Yes we stayed in a beach cottage in the middle of winter. It was so cozy and quiet and the little heater worked great It was nice not hearing the freeway or other neighbors thumping around. We live in a condo in the city back at home. It was perfect for a couple or a single person. WiFi worked great and we were right by the water. We were actually in Olympia area searching for our retirement home and found it! Such a cute place and a very successful trip! Maybe we can come back in the summer at some point for a staycation!

Quiet peaceful place
We enjoyed our stay even on a rainy winter day. We walked to the beach between rains and were able to access it easily. The bathroom is small with little counter space by the sink but it's all workable. It was great having a full size refrigerator. The parking was very well arranged as well as the ability to drive close to the cabin door to unload.

Cozy cottage has my heart
Absolutely beautiful and lovely. As a native arizonian, being by the water and surrounded by trees has been lovely. The hosts have been lovely as well with their recommendations and communication in general. Would absolutely recomend for any person or parteners <3.

Excellent!
Enjoyed our recent visit! This little cabin is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Very peaceful. Close to downtown Olympia. It was an easy commute to visit our family there. Appreciated the restaurant and grocery store recommendations. Absolutely would return!

Great getaway place
Beautiful, clean place right on the sound. Kayaks available for seeing some awesome wildlife. We saw Bald Eagles, Harbor Seals and many other animals. Highly recommend this quaint little cottage.

By the water stay
The cottage suited our needs. Beautiful view. From the pictures online, it looked like we could walk a few feet to the water on the other side of the fence and the property be level, so we brought along our inflatable kayak. It wasn't the case and would have been too difficult to inflate and try to bring down to the water. The kayaks that were there to rent. seemed too difficult for us to maneuver. Didn't notice anyone else from main house using the jacuzzi. Would have been nice to use if we could have communicated with those staying there. The 2 women, during part of our stay, seemed friendly and probably wouldn't have minded. To be specific, the kitchen cookware could have been more upto date and not sooo worn. Have gotten used cookware that was in very good shape from second hand/Goodwill stores that didn't cost very much. The TV was very disappointing, even though the guy that came and tried to help us out, found that the cable wasn't plugged in. The remote wasn't working right- batteries needed to be replaced. The windows needed to be cleaned. The 'auto ignite' on the stove didn't work right. We felt that these things should have been either updated , cleaned or checked out between renters.

Adorable Tiny House on the water
This was a beautiful respite on the water. We enjoyed staying in the cottage and slept deeper than we have in a long time. It’s very quiet and peaceful. Laundry is available and it’s within an hour to Olympia National Park. Great spot!

Weekend getaway
Cozy, close to the inlet beach and easy access to Olympia. Beautiful views of Mt Rainer. We had never seen active oyster beds before. That was cool! Also, note, the cottage is on the same property as a house, so not a lot of privacy if that is what you want. The cottage interior is very nice. It was a good base for the weekend.

Superb location and very cute studio
The property is supreme! Excellent quiet location on a beautiful property with partial views from both windows. Right on the sound with direct beach access. It's a challenge to get the kayaks down there but they have a couple you can rent. If you bring your own, they have a place you can safely store them. The room is exactly as pictured- small, well decorated, comfortable. It is a tight fit with all your stuff if you are bringing your own supplies and meals but it works. Quick drive to Olympia as well. Highly recommend. Thank you Wendy.

Cozy Cottage
Our stay was at the worse time ,regarding the Forest Fires smoke. We rented the kayaks but didn’t use them because of the thick smoke. Even though we experienced that, I highly recommend staying at this cottage. The area surrounds you in tranquility!!!! We will be coming back soon!!

My girlfriend and I rented the little studio for a couple nights to “get away” and it was PERFECT! The fire pit and a little Bluetooth speaker was the absolute best!

Beautiful Bayside Cottage
The property was wonderful. The location was perfect as it was within an hour or Seattle and Mount Rainier National Park. We were out of the congestion and noise of the city with a beautiful view of the bay. We also found an absolutely beautiful park, Frye County Cove, to explore that was very close to the cottage.

Very peaceful and quiet. We could hear the waves splashing the shore at night. Beautiful setting. The fire pit right on the water was so relaxing. Cabin was very clean and well stocked with all necessities. The owners were super friendly and really accommodating. We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect Getaway
We were looking for a few days just to relax between our journey from Portland to Seattle and this little cottage was perfect! Very quiet but close enough for us to drive out for a nice dinner one night and to find cupcakes to satisfy a sweet tooth craving another. Wendy was a helpful contact—responded to all my questions and answered her phone promptly when I had to call about a question! Would love to stay again if opportunity arose.

It!s the Beach!
Quiet and secluded get-away with views of the inlet. Handicap bars in bathroom would be good addition as well as reflective house number on building at driveway entry ( easier to find in the dark!) Well appointed, clean and nicely decorated. We enjoyed it so much we booked an extra day!🌊

Peaceful and Beautiful!
I expected to be near downtown Olympia as I thought the cottage was located on Boston Harbor but this was actually much better. Highly recommend it!

Relaxing and beautiful stay!
We had a wonderful time! Even on a rainy day, we were able to hike at a nearby park on the water. The property is just beautiful and relaxing. We even saw Orca's swim by while we sat watching the sunset. Our hosts were very communicative and the little apartment was stocked to make breakfast and dinner each night. Highly recommended!

Cozy quiet cottage in an idyllic setting
It was a real treat to be in such a beautiful location. I enjoyed being able to take walks on the beach and along the lanes of the neighborhood. Wendy and her husband were quick to respond when I had a question. I would definitely like to return again.

Location: Beautiful spot on the inlet with a wonderful view of Reiner! Owner: They were easy and thorough in their communication. Housing: The studio was perfect for my wife and I. Plenty of room and cozy. Property: Stunning! The gardens are beautiful and the inlet front fire pit was a delight. We even saw a seal while eating dinner and found other one on a early morning kayak. Overall: I'd highly recommend it, you won't be disappointed! I'll definitely be recommending this to friends who visit Washington!

Perfect getaway
The little cottage was clean, decorated very simple but perfectly, had excellent views from both windows and an easy walk to a variety of sitting areas with even better views. The host, Wendy, was so helpful and responsive. It was the perfect place for what I was looking for - a getaway weekend with my best friend I only get to see once a year and my dog. We cooked our meals in the cute little kitchen, had plenty of places to sit/relax. Shower is a bit tiny but to be expected in a little studio. Though we didn’t take advantage of the surrounding sights, there were plenty within a short drive. Instead, we took full advantage of the beautiful, peaceful surroundings. I would definitely try to visit here again and maybe take advantage of the main house if I had more people. Thanks for everything!

Peaceful? Yes. Relaxing? Very. Stunning view of Mt Rainier? Priceless! And the fresh, warm blueberry muffins Wendy brought us one morning - delicious & much appreciated as we were heading off that day for Mt St Helen's National Monument. A must-see!

Peaceful beach retreat
I really enjoyed my stay here. The cottage was well renovated and equipped with all necessities. The location could not have been better, its nestled just far enough from the city to see the stars at night and for quiet days and nights, and I could see Mt Rainier over the water every morning while I had coffee. Wendy was a great host and was available if I needed anything. I can't wait to return!

Perfect little getaway
It's true, pictures don't do it justice. It's hard to capture how relaxing this little place was. Olympia is far enough to feel secluded yet close enough to make a quick drive into town. The little beach was private and beautiful and the studio was nicely renovated. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful and peace-filled escape
I spent two nights in the studio cottage with an amazing summer day sandwiched in between. The quiet surroundings and fresh air down by the water created the perfect spot for some down time and personal reflection, with a view exactly like what's in the promo pic! The studio itself was very clean and comfortable, and info and communication with the local contact was excellent.

Wish we had been able to do more than just fall into bed after LONG sightseeing days, but overall it was cozy. Took us a few days to discover where the thinner blanket was :) Very quiet and peaceful.

Tides in - Kayak Again
Such a beautiful location and the views are spectacular--with a phenomenal view of Mt. Ranier. The weather was warm with a hint of a chill in the evenings. We kayaked up and down the Eld Inlet--sharing the water with local seals, kingfishers and schools of minnows. We had a wonderful vacation staying in the one-room cottage! The cottage was clean and held all the essentials to cook a fine meal, relax with a book and long walks with the dogs. Thank you to the owners for you can immediately see their loving care of the property and attentiveness to their guests.

Cute, Quiet Place
I stayed for two weeks while working in Olympia and looking for a permanent place. The studio is small; it sort of reminded me of those IKEA room displays that say "living in 150 square feet!" Especially since the décor was pure IKEA. I'm a bigger guy, and the shower was tight. It's one room attached to a detached garage. But, it met my needs of a basic place convenient to town. It has a full size fridge and a stove, oven and microwave. It is remote, which had it's own appeal; but it's in the woods away from main roads and away from it it all and it's really dark at night. The windows were not privately covered, but no one can really see in. I did not see another person except the owner's sister (twice) when she checked on the main house. The view of the water and Mt. Ranier were beautiful. I would recommend, especially for someone who wants to be in the woods but have the conveniences that camping cannot offer.

Definitely returning
The property is quaint and has all that one needs for a relaxing stay away from the hustle and bustle. So beautiful, then morning sunrise is stunning the view of Mt. Rainier is awesome, and the beach is accessible. We will be telling all our friends and family about this little jewel on Eld inlet.
